I gave them exactly enough food for my dog for a week. and I got 2 days of food back. I'm assuming they forgot to feed my dog and that is highly unacceptable. I don't have kids he is my kid. I'm not going back ever.
Under no circumstances will we be leaving our dogs with this facility ever again. Last year, our dogs bed was given to another dog. They could not find her bed for 25 min, when they finally found it, it had another dogs name written on it. No idea how long my dog didnt have her bed. (We were gone for 10 days) they reimbursed me for the bed. This last time we were gone for 7 days. We picked them up on wednesday. They both stunk to high heaven, repulsive actually. When we got them home, our smaller dog has huge scabs on the inside and outside of her right ear.like she had been bitten by another dog. I called the facility to find out what happened, of course the woman i spoke to had no idea what happened and said she would look into and call back. She never did. Now here we are on Saturday and BOTH dogs are sick. Fever, coughing, loose stool, panting, lethargic, wont eat. Yup, dog flu. Avoid this location at all costs.
Pick up our dog from the facilities and as soon as he releases we notice it was diarrhea, we called Pet Paradise and they said that it was probably stress, we waited and the nightmare begins our puppy which was always fine sleeping in his crate all through the night started waning, as soon as we go check on him he was all dirty from his feces (poop), our dog will never do that no even when he was weeks old. I quickly called to make an appointment and find out he caught a Gut infection, which he is still fighting, and we continue to comfort him in every way. I think they need to emphasize on the well being of each pet one by one and not the quantities. According to a staff member when I pick up my dog they had about 127 pets to take care, how are they going to even notice anything or provide any quality service to these pets with so many to take care of.
Great place buster had a great time. I was impressed with the care he received as he is a dog with very special needs. I'd recommend to anybody
I just picked up my dog today from boarding with Preppy Pet. We boarded our dog for 6 nights. When we picked him up, he had half of his food left, which I can understand because he was scared. I also noticed a cut on his shoulder. He was bit by another dog that was at the facility. I was not notified of the incident, which pisses me off to the max, nor did they tell me about it when I got there. I had to ask them about it right before we walked out the door. Now that we are home, my dog is acting lethargic and sort of depressed, very clingy, and peeing all over the house, which he NEVER did before. I can tell he has lost weight because his bones are visible. I am so unhappy with my boarding experience. They obviously don't pay any attention to their pets nor take them out to use the restroom.
My name is Mary and I am raving about Preppy Pet. My dog King have been boarding for 9 months because my apartment at the time did not accept dogs over 25lbs. I have to thank Kay and the owner for their patience and understanding when it came to payments and visits. I would also like to thank the staff for the loving care they gave to King. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion. My experience with The Preppy Pet franchise have been outstanding. I will continue to use their services in the future. Give it a try, take your furry love one there for a play day or even boarding. Make up ur own mind. It's a great place. :) MQ
I had been taking my Husky to a large brand grooming salon for many years and my dog hated going in every time. I saw the sign for D’Look and simply walked in. I can’t brag and boast enough about the excellent service and care my dog has received since that day. The owners are so pleasant, professional, accommodating, friendly and the list truly goes on. They are always the answer to all of my dog needs. She looks amazing every time and her grooming lasts longer than before, not to mention her ear infections have now stopped. She’s happy to let the owners take her leash and lead her in. I have wanted a second dog for a long time but feared the grooming and training hassles I had originally. Kerry at D’Look has been me help every step of the way. Helping me with my new puppy with boarding while I am away for long hours at work at a great price and offer obedience classes right in the same place. I would recommend anyone to them and know your pet is in amazing hands.
This place is really 5 star to me and my little Border Collie, Coraline. We would not be as happy and satisfied with each other without the help I get from all the staff at Doglando. I am a single, professional who works some long hours. Yet, I really wanted to get an active companion dog. A dog with intelligence and spirit to run with me, take to Crossfit, and try agility classes with. Border Collies are perfect for an active lifestyle, but I knew I would need help keeping my smarty pants, little busy bee occupied. Enter the University of Doglando. From the first week that I brought Cora home we started attending weekly puppy parties for socialization and a weekly puppy P.L.A.Y. class to begin training foundations. The puppy parties were not only an hour for the puppies to play in the sand yard, but the staff offer tips on everything from housebreaking to safe play between dogs. The puppy P.L.A.Y. class was an hour one evening per week for 3 weeks and taught us some foundations such as recalls. Than we went into PreKanine 1 and 2. These introduced a plethora of obedience foundations from loose leash walking, sit, down, stays, getting into a crate, and some fun tricks such as weaving in between legs. Not to mention it's additional time for the puppies to socialize and learn to focus around other people and dogs. In addition to the classes, my puppy goes to the Enrichment program (so much more than day care!!!) several days a week, based on my work schedule. At Enrichment Cora gets to learn to play appropriately with other dogs, swim, and her manners, obedience, and even some of our agility foundations are reinforced. I work in healthcare, and nights when I am on call ridiculous hours Cora goes home with a staff member. This is an option they offer which I really appreciate. I like my puppy to be comfortable with a variety of people and situations, and to know she is loved! On these nights when we have to be apart the staff are really good about sending me updates on how she is doing. I'm not sure where I rank on the maintenance scale of dog mommies, but I have the feeling I'm definitely up there. The staff are great about putting up with my requests for information and frequent schedule changes. Cora and I plan on continuing our relationship with Doglando through the Enrichment program, and also by joining some of the specialty classes they offer such as Nose/Scent Work and Dock Diving. Take a tour of their facility - I have visited numerous other facilities and none in Orlando has as much space and fun stuff for the dogs to do: acres of fields to run in, a pool to swim in, a sand lot to play in, a variety of toys and objects to climb, a lagoon to cool off in on our insanely hot Orlando summer days, and a caring and attentive staff.
ATTENTION!!!!!!!Dear dog owners, if you love your fury one don't choose this facility. Otherwise read very carefully the fine print!,,,, They charge you with service you never receive, they destroy your pillow and toys which you brought for you dog to make the time for your dog more comfortable. When you pick up your dog, -very important- check your bill and let explain the service. Therefore check the stuff you brought in........... They wash all dog toys, pillows and blankets..... Some of them are destroyed. The lady she gave me the stuff told me the dog pillow was trapped between the door. When I came home one of the toys was totally tattered. I think they put in the dryer and it burst open. Be not surprised when you complain about your damaged stuff and they will tell you know, they are not responsible. Whatever it was there fault and they are not responsible. They wash the stuff but it seems they are not really take care. I spoke with Kay about the problem she said she can give me a credit for my next boarding. Seriously, I don't want to bring my dogs back. She said, only Mrs Gore the manager can refund the amount on my card. Mrs Gore will call me, that was for 4 days ago. I already called and called it seems she won't be available to give me my refund. Poor service and not a serious, customer friendly company. For all Military's they were offered a 10% discount..... you don't get the discount on the sum you pay. Be careful, be careful
