My husband and I like to have friends over for dinner quite often, and we are total foodies. We love to cook! One of our favorite appliances is a Bosch 500 Series 30 Inch Built-in Warming Drawer we use them all the time when we have dinner parties. We were in the kitchen the week before one of our scheduled dinner parties when our Warming drawers started sticking and making a squeaky noise when you pull it out. I know that does not sound like the end of the world, but it would embarrass me in front of my dinner guests if our Warming drawer was squeaking every time we opened it. My sister would definitely give me a hard rime about it. We are always in competition, and she is jealous of my kitchen. So I told my husband he needs to fix this situation, I said “just make it go away.” So he called New York Appliance Repair and got us an appointment in three days. Three days in Manhattan that is pretty amazing. What was even more amazing that the repairman they sent, I think his name was Jerry, fixed it on the spot. I could not believe it. He did not schedule and appointment to come back at a later time once he got the parts, no, he actually came prepared and fixed that day. I was ecstatic. I could not believe it. Normally in Manhattan it takes a month to get an appointment with a repairman and then they have to come back 2 weeks later when the parts come in. This was the least painful repair call I think we have ever had. My dinner party was saved, and it was a big hit, everybody had a great time. We will definitely be using New York Appliance Repair from now on, and recommending it to my entire friend and family, except my sister, let her find her own repairman, just kidding, lol. My Husband and I were planning on having all of the relatives over for the Christmas Holiday, Ughh. Right after Thanksgiving our Wolf Oven started acting up. Twice in one week it went into self-cleaning mode and the oven door locked and would not open. We were cooking a roast at the time. I had to throw the circuit breaker just to get the door open. I will not say the roast was ruined, but it did not help it any. I was kind of in a panic, Christmas was only a few weeks away, and my oven was not working. This could be a holiday disaster. My husband sprang into action and called Appliance Repair New York right away. We were surprised we got an operator on the phone at 9:30 at night. She got us an appointment set up within 48 hours of making the call. The technician Vince showed up on time, and took a look at our Wolf Oven. It did not take him long before he discovered we had a faulty thermostat. So I figured the next step would be to set up a second appointment a week from now so he could return with the appropriate parts. I could not believe it when he said he brought a thermostat with him. He had read the notes that the operator had taken and figured based on his knowledge of Wolf ovens that we probably needed a new thermostat. I could not believe it. I was so happy. He replaced the thermostat and it has worked great ever since. My family is starting to arrive now, and we are gearing up for a wonderful holiday thanks to Vince and the good people at Appliance Repair New York. I purchased an Asko washing machine when I moved in to my new appliance. I read several articles about Asko and their appliance, and I was impressed with their innovations and their design. The articles seemed to paint a brighter picture than the reality. For the most part I am satisfied with the performance I get from this washer, but I have had to have it fixed twice in 2 years. That seems like a lot to me. This latest problem was an issue with the water not draining out all of the way after the wash cycle is done. So I called up My Appliance Repair Los Angeles. My cousin Vince works there and I know all of the technicians. They are a great company. Kind of like a family. I sked them if they could send my cousin out, but he was not available so they sent George out. He is an old timer, but he is such a nice guy. He looked at my Asko Washer and asked me why I bought such a complicated machine. I told him because the internet told me to. He just laughed. He worked on my Asko Washer for a while, and told me that the drain was clogged, and that he cleaned it out and it should be working good now. He also took the time to show me how to clean it out myself, so that next time it happens I know how to fix it. That is why My Appliance Repair LA is such a great company. We have had a GE Monogram 15” Ice Maker and we have had it for about 8 years no problems. We started to notice recently that it was starting to taka a very long time to make ice. So my wife called Appliance Repair New York. We have used this service several times in the past and we have always been very happy with them. This time was no different. They sent out Victor, he is the same repairman they sent out last time, and he is a really nice guy. My wife is fond of him she says that he is funny. We showed him the ice maker, and after a quick examination he was able to determine that we needed a new circuit board. I asked him if we should just replace the unit, and be done with it, and he pointed out to me that the ice maker we had was a good ice maker, and that if we replaced the circuit board we could get quite q few more years of service. We have him the go ahead and he returned a couple days later with a circuit board and swapped them out. We have not had any problems with it since. My wife is very happy she really liked the look of our ice maker. We chose it because it matched out kitchen really well. Appliance Repair New York is a great service. A week before Thanksgiving last year our KitchenAid refrigerator we keep in our garage quit working. Normally it is just an over flow refrigerator for drinks and such, but on Thanksgiving when the entire family is coming to our house for dinner. So my wife started to have a panic attack calling her sister to try to coordinate a backup plan should the second refrigerator be unfixable. I told her to calm down. I love my Viking Tuscany 48 Inch Freestanding Dual Fuel Range. I love to cook, it is kind of my thing. Last year me and my partner finally did it we went out and purchased a Viking Tuscany Dual Fuel Range in Dark Viking Blue, love it, love everything about it. So you can imagine how upset I was when I went in the kitchen the other day to discover that one of the burners on our new Viking Range was not working. Total drama! We called Viking and they said they could send somebody out in a week. There was no way I was waiting a week to be able to use my Viking range again. I found My Appliance range again. I was cooking breakfast the other day when our Whirlpool Retractable Downdraft System made a loud high pitched noise, and quit working. We cook all the time so we needed to get the downdraft fixed right away. So we called up Authorized Appliance Repair. We have used them a couple of times in the past, and we have always been happy with their service in the past. We scheduled a repair call for Saturday when we would both be home. My wife gets nervous when she has to be alone in the house with strangers. The repair tech Vince showed up and he was very friendly and seemed to know his stuff. He examined the downdraft and discovered that the blower motor had gone out. The part we needed was a little pricey, but the labor was very reasonable. We gave him the go ahead to order the parts, and we scheduled him to return on Thursday in the evening when we would be home. He replaced our Blower Motor and had us back in the kitchen in time for to cook dinner. Vince was a really nice guy, very professional, and the final bill was very fair. I would recommend this company to friends.
I have a LG 6.3 cu. ft. Gas Slide-in Range ProBake Convection Oven with the Easy Clean feature. It is a very nice oven. I use it all the time, and I have used the Easy clean feature several times. One day last fall I tried to clean my oven and the Easy Clean feature malfunctioned. It ramped up to 500 degrees and was not shutting off when it should, so I had to throw the breaker to shut it down. After that I called up Appliance Repair New York and scheduled an appointment to have a technician look at it. They sent out a technician named Larry. He seemed very nice and he really seemed to know what he was talking about. He examined the oven and said that my control board had malfunctioned and would need replaced. He gave me an estimate and it seemed very reasonable. I had him order the parts and 2 days later he called me up and we set a time when he could come over and replace the control board. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and the pride and joy of my kitchen appliances is my Wolf Achiever Natural Gas 36" 6 Burner Countertop Range. I acquired it a few years ago. I got a really good deal on it, and I use it all the time. So when one of the burners quit working I called Appliance Repair New York immediately and set up an appointment. They had a repair tech at our house in under 24 hours. He took a look at the unit, and told me one of the sparkers had burnt out, and he just happened to have one on the truck with him. He had read the notes that the operator took when she set up the appointment. So he brought a sparker with him just in case. The other day I was in the basement to get a bottle of wine when suddenly it started beeping and alternated the set temp (normal) and "Er". I turned it off, and unplugged it, in an attempt to reset it. Then, when I plugged it in it started beeping non-stop and read "Off" on the LED. I am no good with appliances so I called up Appliance Repair Los Angeles and scheduled a service call. They sent out a repairman on Saturday like I requested. He examined the appliance for a while and returned to tell me that the display control board had shorted out and would need replaced. He told me would have to order a new control board, and return in a few days. We told him to see if he could come back next Saturday, and he said that would be fine. He arrived early on Saturday, and had out Wine Captain back on its feet in no time. His final bill seemed lower than I expected. The Technician Dave was very friendly, and knowledgeable, and he did a great job.
