I bought 2 cars from these guys. Murano and Maxima. Got good price on both. I got my cars serviced with them. Every time I took the car, I simply asked them to do what is due (because I signed a 3 yr service agreement and paid for 12 services at the beginning - first mistake as I realized later). When I checked the service history, it became clear that they did not do as per the schedule. They rotated the wheels one time for each vehicle in 3 years instead of 6 times. Did not do the filter change as per schedule. The steering wheel was malaligned on Murano and had to take it back at least 4 times before it was fixed for good (luckily under warranty). The gas tank lid wouldn't open on the Murano and to get that right, i had to take it to them 3 times. Now, the front struts needed replacing on the Maxima, which costed over $700 (compared to $450 at Sears). After replacing, it never was right and after taking it back it still is not right. Need to take it back one more time (at least, if not more). I bought a 3 yr service agreement, although there was an expiry date on that because I was convinced that I would be paying for the number of services and the expiry date doesn't matter. Now, when the crunch time came, that expiration date became very important for them. People are very courteous, but I prefer the job done right to politeness with poor performance.

What a great car-buying experience. I found a beautiful used car for my wife, told them what I was willing to pay, which really wasn't much less than the sticker price. I also asked for a few minor imperfections to be fixed. They didn't try to haggle, "let me get the boss to see if it's ok...". The salesman was empowered to make the deal. This is the kind of auto experience I like and appreciate. The building is beautiful, with a little cafe. Very nice waiting area, and a very nice ambiance. The service was great, the people were great, and most of all the car is great, at a very fair price. I'll come to Owens Murphy again, and I would tell others to check them out. They have some very nice cars (Land Rover; Jaguar; Volkswagen Dealers). I really liked their pre-owned inventory. Very good selection.
First, it's a Honda! I was 2 years into a 3 year lease from McClarty. They made an intriguing "lease pull-ahead" offer by mail that turned out to work perfectly for what I had in mind a year from now. Instead of waiting, drove off buying (not leasing) a brand new current model of what I'd been leasing. Was impressed with the time they took and suggestions they made to tailor the financing package (and extended warranty) to my needs, budget and driving history. Easily the most pleasurable deal I've made in over 40 years of cars. Must have met 6 or 7 staff personnel during the course of the deal: uniformly friendly, down-to-earth, no pressure, knowledgeable. Amazing, really. Couldn't be more impressed with McClarty.
This was by far the quickest, easiest, and best deal on a car I've ever gotten! I knew I wanted another Civic because I love my little car so much, and my daughter is going to be taking it over for college. I've been stressing about getting a good deal, getting financed, and just dealing with the whole car shopping experience as a whole. I shouldn't have been! I called James Forrester, told him what I wanted, and that was how easy it was. Got a great deal and a great interest rate. Drove happily off the lot in less than an hour in a half! I couldn't recommend James Forrester and Landers McClarty more highly.
Went in at 2:30 pm............... on my way home at 5:30 pm. Told Roderick McCray what I wanted, how much I could afford and Stuart Westmoreland walked me through paperwork. This is my 3 Honda and I refuse to buy anything else for the time being. I'm going to miss the Bale Honda name but I am sure Landers McLarty will be just as professional as Bale as evident by the customer service I received. No pressure or strings attached, I could have kept my 2013 Honda. The 2015 with all the "bells and whistles" makes it a little more exciting to drive. I'm truly enjoying my new Honda!
We purchased our first Honda Pilot from Bale Honda(very good experience!), back in 2004, so I was kind of leery going back to them since they changed ownership. So I called and talked with a salesman named Tony McDaniel. Told him i needed 2015 Honda Pilot Touring 4wd in Dark Amber Met and that is the only color option wanted. He said we dont have one but I can locate one for you. He went beyond expectation and found one a couple states away. We made the deal, and are very happy with the price and our purchase! Purchased a 2015 Honda Odyssey on Saturday. Salesman, James Forester, was very helpful throughout the process and not high pressure. Sales manager, Drew Warburton, was very receptive to negotiating the financial details that fit our wishes. We had a Pilot to turn in on a LBP (baloon) maturity and Landers McLarty took care of everything involving that vehicle. The finance procedure of the deal was promptly addressed and took very little time. Very happy with vehicle and the transaction acquiring it.
I loved my experience at Northpoint Mazda. Russell Norris was helpful, not pushy at all. He was knowledgeable and friendly. I've never had less than excellent service at Northpoint, and am glad to have another Mazda in my garage! I showed up Saturday morning with no intention of buying a car, but 3 hours later had test driven, ordered, and financed the car of my dreams. They lent me a nice car to drive while mine was shipped from another dealer. A great experience all around.
