Christian L-E-G Early Learning Center is exceptionally clean, and well organized. The displays encourage learning and engagement. Children are treated with respect. The lunch served is healthy. The teachers offer encouragement to grow with enough support to nurture the children. I am happy to invest in my child's care and learning here. The price is very reasonable, especially for all that is offered to the children. I commend the staff for offering such a well rounded educational experience for the children. Music and sign language classes are primary parts of the curriculum. What sets Christian LEG Learning Center apart is the professionalism of the leadership.
This daycare is truly amazing and trustworthy because they raised all 4 of my kids and they did an amazing job. They are multicultural and welcome different cultures. I feel like it helped my kid not be so close mineded or ignorant about other cultures.
Yesterday morning I dropped my 6 mos daughter off at Amazing Grace and gave specific instructions on feeding and activities that my daughter enjoys.I made sure that the staff was aware of the packed bag for my daughter. I picked my daughter up around 5:40 pm and observed a male sitting at the reception desk speaking a native language to a woman with no acknowledgement that I was waiting for my daughter. I asked the man to identify himself and what his responsibilities are at the daycare. To my surprised the man wouldn't respond. I then spoke to the manager (Rachel Adeshola)and she identify him as the driver. My wife later noticed that the baby bag was not touched; meaning the food and pampers was as we packed when I dropped the baby off. My wife also noticed that our baby had the same diaper on 7 hours which was soaked. She immediately called the daycare and spoke to a Elli (Receptionist) and confirmed that the assistants fed her with they're own formula after miss placing our bag. Also gave her no response to why our baby is still wearing the same diaper. After speaking to Rachel again her only response was excuse and we should find another daycare because of all her years of experience; she had very little complaints. This is another example of facilities displaying child neglect and not being reported to the state.
Our 1st child started 5 years ago as an infant and is now finishing pre-k. We have seen people come and go over the years, but there have also been long standing people who have been there since our day one. All classes from infant to pre-k have a curriculum, and I am amazed at all the learning and activities that take place. They have several outside play areas including areas that are shared with the British School. Our remaining children will finish their schooling and care here. Children are 5 1/2, 2 1/2, and 9 months old. Great school, great loving teachers.
I have two sons at ITAV (4 and 16 mo) they each began attending there around 12 - 8 weeks of age respectively. We have had a tremendous experience at ITAV throughout the years.
This is an outstanding daycare...the staff is friendly and welcoming they are very open with parents allow parents to visit whenever suitable.
My boys first infant teacher Ms. Petrina was incredible. She cared for both my babies with a gentle touch and really loves each and everyone of her kids. As our kids have gotten older there are some other amazing teachers that cared for them throughout their time there. Ms Lydia, Ms Kierra, Ms Diane, Ms Courtney, etc... the list goes on and on. They were great when it came time for potty training with my oldest and the curriculum mixed with free play and learning experiences have provided a nice balance. My 4 year old came home everyday with a fun new art project he did or talked about what they were learning like the stages of Caterpillars, The Solar System and our great city of Chicago! He has made friends that he has known in he was 3 months old and they have done a great job in keeping those kids together in each classroom.
I have sent my son to ITAV since he was 3 months old. It was recommended to me by my co-worker who sent both her daughters there. It has a great location if you work in the loop. We have relied on the teachers at ITAV to take the lead on teaching him new things, i.e. eating jar food, eating table food, drinking milk in a sippy cup and many other developmental activiities. He loves his teachers at ITAV and we have a hard time keeping him as engaged on the weekends. We are glad that we found a place to give our son the right combination of study and play.
My daughter has been going to ITAV at River City since she was 20 months (she is now 31 months). She has learnt so much since going there and absolutely loves her teachers and friends!
My daughter has been at ITAV since she was 3 months old and will be turning 4 in a couple months. We've had a great experience throughout our time there. As an infant, she did get sick pretty often the first couple months but I think that was pretty normal. After the first few months she hasn't had any issues. The lead teacher there was Ms. Pavi and she was great. ITAV really helped our daughter get on a regular sleep schedule which was really apparent at home after a couple weeks. They also helped guide us on timing like when to start feeding her solids, get her shoes, etc. At 1-2 years old no real complaints. The one thing I would say she changed a couple classes during that time which was a little annoying but no big deal. Our daughter was fine with it and had no issues (they tend to keep the same kids moving through the classes so that helps). Around the 2.5 yrs age Ms. Diana was the lead teacher and she really helped with the potty training. She is now 3.5 years old and she is in the Rainbow class. The lead teacher is Ms. Courtney and she is totally awesome. My daughter is really starting to pick stuff up and has learned a lot. At 3 she knows her number, her letters, she can do simple addition, knows her shapes, write her name, etc. Everyday she comes home and says something that totally blows our mind. Last week she said "daddy look the moon it revolves around the earth and the earth revolves around the sun". She then said I learned it from Ms. Courtney.Ms. Courtney also makes the class pretty entertaining for them, a couple months ago they were teaching "life cycle" and had a caterpillar to butterfly kit. That was all my daughter talked about every day until they set those butterflies free. Being our first child and first daycare, it is always tough and as parents you want it to be perfect. It has been a good experience for us with little bumps along the way. But above all, our daughter really loves it there. She is excited every morning to go to school and whenever we pick her up she always seem to have fun. If she's happy then that's all that matters.
