I've been wanting to write a review for Allure De Vie for a while, I don't like to leave negative reviews because I know it affects businesses but I also think customers deserve to know what they're getting before paying for a service. Let me start off by saying that I've purchased 2 packages from this salon with 6 laser sessions each. I've done a total of 11 laser session. The procedure is not pain free like most places like to advertise, it hurts a little but to me it’s always been tolerable. If you're getting laser hair removal on large areas most salons divide these areas into sections with a white pencil and focus on each individual section, Allure De Vie does not do this. I've been with three different laser technicians at Allure De Vie and they all did it a different way which makes me question if they were really trained on this machine or not. They use a Soprano XL machine for laser, though it is a good machine that's very expensive like the owner likes to mention, there are other more advanced laser machines out there, please do your research on the types of laser machines before going to any salon and make sure that it'll work on your specific skin tone and hair color. I still have about 80% of the body hair I was trying to get rid of, this is after 11 sessions. I truly believe it’s because of how the laser technicians are trained on the machines and because of improper maintenance of the Soprano XL machine. I would also like to talk about customer service at this salon. This salon has canceled two appointments on me. The first time was because they had to get a replacement part on their machine. The second time was because one of their employees couldn’t make it in, it takes me about an hour tog get to the salon so I left at 8am for my 9am appointment. The owner calls me at 8:32 to cancel the appointment. I was halfway there. Not only did I waste money on getting two Uber rides but I wasted almost two hours of my time. The owner called me and told me they had left me a voicemail the day prior, the only voicemail I received was one to confirm my 9am appointment with them. She knew a day before that the laser technician wasn’t going to be able to make it and she called me 30 minutes prior to my appointment to let me know. This is extremely unprofessional especially coming from the owner of Allure De Vie. The owner told me she would call me back that day to try and figure out when she could get me in for an appointment. She never never called back. I tried to contact the salon several times to try and get a refund. The manager finally called me back SIX DAYS LATER! She practically told me I was overreacting and tried to justify her actions for canceling on me 30 minutes prior to an appointment. As an owner and manager she should know better! It’s unbelievable that the owner of this business acts the way she does. After yelling at each other for about 15 minutes she decided to give me an extra laser session for free. I would’t go back to this salon even if I got 6 sessions for free. It’s so bad I’m not even going to go in for my last session. Remember that you always get what you pay for, pay a little more and go somewhere else. I have wasted way too much time at this salon and gotten very little results. Once again, please don’t forget to do your research on each salon and don’t be afraid to ask questions before going. I wish I would have done that but I will not commit the same mistake again. Place is a scam. Don't waste your time going there. The woman who massaged me wanted me completely naked, making me feel uncomfortable. The walls are thin. You can hear people talking loud in the other room. Not relaxing at all. Worst massage ever. Then she complained about the tip I gave her. Don't believe the reviews on yelp, their fake reviews. I wouldn't give this place a half star!!
I would not recommend working with this company. They put me through a lot of unnecessary stress chasing them down and trying to figure out details with them. The day of my wedding, the makeup/hair people were also mean and rude for reasons I still don't understand. We were all pretty dumbfounded by it. My hair was done by Amanda and Kaillez was the makeup artist. Kaillez brushes and makeup did not look very clean which was concerning.I didn't end up going through with the makeup session on my wedding day because the makeup artist was really mean to my bridesmaids and I didn't feel like I should go through that, when I told the company about it, their response was that they don't care and will not refund me because I left a review of my experience on yelp. This is kind of telling of how ethical they are.All of my other vendors seemed like they just love working with people to make their day special, but this was the opposite at Appease, I just don't think they care much about it at all, they just want to make money.If you want to avoid stress on your wedding day I would avoid working with Appease.
The best ever in my view for the price you pay. I have been their customer for almost a year. I became familiar with them through YP:)) Laura is awesome hairstylist both haircut and color. Today I went blond and 100% satisfied. Friendly environment. I go there for my nails and massage. Veronica has magic hands for massage. I am their permanent customer :))) hope you enjoy toooooooooooo:)

NEVER AGAIN!!! I took my mother here as a mother's day gift since she likes to get her nails and pedi done every two wks. I can't speak on the other staff, but the nail tech was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & DOES NOT know how to do mani & Pedi's correctly! My mother has been getting her nails done for 17yrs now. So she knows the difference btwn a proper & non-proper job. She pretty much had to tell the nail tech how to do her job. The nail tech did not paint her pinky nails.. My mother did it herself. She did not put a top coat over the color she chose. She also did not clean out the nails which is done when you get a pedi. As for my nails she left them rough on the edges, didn't color the nails to the cuticles, didn't do a correct pedi as far as the cleaning and cutting and also did not put a topcoat, .Either she does not know how to do a mani and pedi correctly or we were just being rushed out When the tech asked how we liked our nails, my mother told her shes going to have them re-done because they weren't done properly. . The nail tech flipped out! Even the receptionist looked at her as if there was something wrong with her. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!. Being in this profession, you have to except the opinions you are given. You're going to get good and bad b/c everybody has their own likes. This nail tech left a very bad taste in my mouth. What upset me the most is that this was suppose to be a good day for both my mother and I being that this was a mothers day gift to my mother from me. Never once out of all the nail/hair salons I've done business with, have I EVER had to deal with a "professional" like this. I will DEFINITELY try to find the best way to reach the owner and make sure she is notified! Being that she has a right to know what type of people are working in her business.
Unprofessional and unexperienced nail technician! When asked how I liked my toe nails I told her I wasn't pleased. She painted my nails like a preschooler all over my skin and not down to the cuticle. Where my ingrown nail grows she didn't clean it or put a top coat over the polish. She told me take my business somewhere else and was trying to intervene with the cashier in checking us out in a hurry. And mind you this was a gift from my daughter and neither of us will go there again! As a customer I am entitled to my opinion especially if I'm paying you to do the job professionally. 22yrs in doing my nails have I experienced the rudeness/unprofessionalism at a nail salon! And my ratings are a minus in stars
I sent my mother for her birthday to Chocolate For Your Body and that was great choice! She had facial and massage and she left very relaxed and happy! definitely not her last time in the spa!
