Optometrists in Chicago, IL

I have completed my 1 year with this establishment. I have ordered additional eye glasses as well as the "free aid glasses". Please believe the reviews. As you reach the 8th month mark with this eye place, you will notice a change of attitude with the male and lady at the front desk. They will change your appointment. They will lie and say you have already recieved your "free"glasses. They will fill oit your card saying you recieved glasses, you never ordered when they are tired of you. I guess after a year , they aren't paid as much or can not make much from a year long client. Wow 1 year service, if your lucky. The eye tech. is wonderful, but how does he not know, they run old customers off? Well off to see, somewhere else.

I went in to put down a deposit and to see if I left my old glasses when I went in 2 days earlier. Receptionist asks, "Where?!" There is only one office in there, theirs. My thought is just look! She went to back and said, "No." As far as me putting down a deposit she acted very disinterested in me and said she could not take the deposit and to come back later. I said, "No I won't. " I walked up there. I was not walking back later! Should have read reviews.

Dr Ricketts is an excellent doctor and they have some really cool frames. i highly recommend this optical store.

Absolutely HORRIBLE eye care doctor. The doctor here does not know what he is doing and will completely ruin your eyes. You're probably going here to improve it, but his contacts, glasses prescription and service is going to destroy them. Please do not come here. The doctor does not know what he is doing and the front desk person in a white coat is nice but a complete idiot.

This place is awesome they have the utmost professionalism with the latest Technology in hand.

The visit went much better than I expected. I loved the setting, and their approach to eye care was professional, yet friendly and dare I say warm? Their pricing to me seemed very reasonable and competitive if not better than those "BIG CHAIN" eyewear corporations.

The staff is very friendly and professional. I have been to other opticals and I would have to say that they are using the most up to date technology to perform their eye exams. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I had an outstanding experience at Buena Vista Optical. As soon as i got there for my appointment, everything needed to be done was great and i was treated very good. At Buena Vista they help you chose the frames you are looking for and what fits you best. My family has been going there for a while now and i have to say, i will go back and recommend others to try it out as well.The doctor and the rest of the staff were very professional and working with others at a good paste even after it started getting busy. One more thing is the variety of frames that they have for display is very helpful. Try it out!

I came in for eye exam, a male employee at front desk was very rude and unprofessional. He did not respect me by sliding my ID across the counter. He then got upset because I told him that was offensive. He did not apologize. This place maybe treating people rude because of different insurances. I do not recommend this place!

I loved the huge selection of designer & unique eye wear. The Doctor is really nice & down to earth. The staff is very helpful & are also wearing some unique frames. Check this place out. It is sort of a "hidden treasure" for sure.
