This is a really fun restaurant with delicious food. Great place to go for a date, with the kids, with friends, or with family visiting from out of town. One side of the restaurant has a Benihana-style setup, where many people are seated around a habachi grill. Well-trained chefs prepare your meal before your eyes, with lots of tricks in store. Loads of fun to watch and the food is outstanding. The other side of the restaurant has sushi and sushi-related entrees. If no one in your party is getting habachi, you can sit in the sushi side and marvel at the artful process of preparing sushi. If you are getting habachi, you can still order off the sushi menu. The prices vary - some entrees are quite expensive while others are quite affordable. There are plenty of vegetarian options as well. The service is outstanding - everyone from the host/hostess who seats you to the waitstaff to the habachi and sushi chef - they are all quite pleasant and very friendly. You'll always leave with a satisfied stomach and a smile on your face.

This is an excellent, healthy, flavor cruise for in-house or on-the-go dining. Reasonably priced and fast, their custom teriyaki bowls are outstanding. They have a large selection of Bowls, Boxes, Udon, Salads, and Rolls -- next time you're in the Arboretum, check them out for lunch.

From Business: How Do You Roll? is a unique sushi roll restaurant started by two brothers in Austin, Texas in 2008. Their goal was to bring quality sushi without pretension to our fast-paced society. HDYR? reinvents sushi by allowing customers to design their own sushi rolls, right in front of them. However, not only does HDYR? offer a h…
My family and I went to Fujiyama for a fun night out. We had a blast. The owner is extremely nice and the chefs were awesome. We had the shrimp, steak, and chicken. All of them were perfect. My husband had some of the Japanese beer and said it was the best beer he had ever tried. We ended …
Only been twice so far, and definitely plan to go back. Originally planned to come here just for noodles, as husband and I had given up on finding sushi we approved of south of the river. Decided to try a small sushi dish along with noodles on the first visit and were excited about the whole…
Me and some of my girls decided to try out a new spot for dinner and drinks last weekend, and our visit at Nagoya did everything but disappoint us. After sharing a few delicious appetizers we decided to order a few cocktails. The TY KU black immediately caught my eye and it ended up being a gre…
This is the absolute best place to get sushi in Austin, and I am including Uchi in that statement. I spent a semester in Japan, and Maru makes me feel like I'm back in Osaka. They are currently redoing their interior, and it looks fantastic. The sushi is superb. If you take one bite of the s…
I love this place! Each order is custom made to order. You pick the ingredients that you want and they make it right in front of you. I'm very particular about what I want in my maki, and they have the ingredients and don't force you to order a certain combination. Each order is custom. The ingredients are fresh. The masabi mayo and Teriyaki sauces are also very good. And it's nice to be able to grab a seaweed salad as well. It's reasonably priced and very good!
Zen certainly hit the spot, but left a little to be desired. We got a bunch of sushi and a couple of bowls to go. The bowls were supposedly tasty (I didn't try them). The sushi was on a "you get what you pay for" level...and it was inexpensive. If you absolutely need to have sushi and you're walking by Zen, I wouldn't be offended if you walked in.
We went for our first time after being told that the food and service were great, what a disappointment, my husband got a steak, I got the terriyaki chicken, both were not good. No flavor, our cook had no personality, did no tricks and basically came and said hi and cooked food and said bye. What a expensive waste of time.
The food was great, the entertainment was great! The only reason I am giving them 4 stars and not 5 is because they could really do better with the "estimated time" it will take to be seated... Otherwise I am very happy with this restaurant! They should be nationwide, its delicious!
I was getting tattooed by Philip Corbin next door at No Regret Tattoo and was STARVING.. So I went right next door per their suggestion and got an awesome Rainbow Roll.. Really delicious! Tattoos and Sushi, great day!
I've been here before, but attended a birthday party last night for a friend. The entire experience was amazing. The service, the chef, & the food was exquisite. I know we'll go again soon.
Very good front of the house. I really enjoy their surf and turf roll. The Yakiniku from the kitchen is also very good as is the Moriwasi. Tempura fryed veggies and shrimp
Good prices on rolls but my son always loves to get fried rice but they don't make fried rice here but everything else was good.
Have visited this place at dinner time and at lunch. They have a great place and would recommend this place to anyone.
