Overall I was not very happy with the service received from such a company with great reviews. Starting with no communication from the supervisor either the day before or the day of the job. I woke up to see several trucks none of them had any kind of signs on them parked in...more front of my house not one person bothered to come and knock or identify themselves and the Brinkmann roofing crew. I knew my job would start that day but still expected better from a well known company. After about 45 mins of being outside a guy came to my front door and as I answered started to walk away from me no handshake no good morning nothing. All I got was " we will be starting your roof we need to finish today so we are starting now" He was annoyed when I asked a few general questions about the job in general and when asked about noticing they seemed short on materials. Around noon I finally got a call from the supervisor telling me he would be there around 2:30pm ( a whole 7 hours after the start of the job) while he was gone I had to stay on top of the crew and had to ask them to replace a piece of decking around my chimney that was clearly leaking and had water stains. Had I not said something about this they were going to leave it there, the guy in charge of the crew was annoyed that I asked them to remove the decking. They did replace a few others areas with no problem up to the standard two sheets of decking. From here on out it was smooth sailing as they placed the new shingles on the roof they did move fast and it does look good. However when they finished it seems they left in a hurry as i was not home when they finished, but there were nails every where a few pieces of trash scattered over the yard. I picked up 27 nails alone from my driveway. They were supposed to run a magnet over the property but obviously did not. This job was finished on a Thursday, had our walk through Friday afternoon and found a few issues with the roof. The supervisor told me he would send someone out on Monday to fix the issues. Here we are on Wednesday and still no repairs have been made or not a single phone call has been made to me to tell if and or when someone would come to fix the issues. I truly expected better from Brinkmann I had quotes for less from other contractors who came highly recommended from others who were happy with their work. But chose brinkmann to avoid issues like this and have someone stand behind their work so far I have not been pleased with them. For far less money I could have gotten the same or better service with someone else. The one good thing I can say about them is before the job it took awhile for me to get my finances available to pay for the job they did stand by as I shuffled things on my end. I am thankful for that but overall I would say it was just a mediocre job from an overrated companyview less

Over the last three years I have been renovating the home and doing modern upgrades to the...more kitchen, bathroom, electrical and plumbing. After all of the hard work we noticed that we had staining in two of the bedrooms, the closets and walk-in pantry that were all freshly painted only two or three months ago. So we needed a new roof. I guess it is easy to say that the first step to choosing a roof contractor is to check out the company with the better business bureau. From that bbb research i was considering 3 of those bbb roof companies that were in good standing for the roof work. After my sister and I got our roof replacement bids, we selected A Better Roof co. to do the work. A Better Roof was selected on that Friday, and they did our roof the following Monday. The roof company did an outstanding job, and they finished the roof in one day! I am very happy and pleased to say that we now have 1 of the prettiest roofs on the street. I live in on one of the three streets that enter our neighborhood. The homes on our street are all new because they have all been redone from hurricane damages a few years ago. Our roof looks the best because A Better Roof, LLC gave us a free upgrade to what they call a laminated 30-year shingle. Other houses on the street have similar 30-year roofs, but our roof was upgraded to a better shingle that has a fancy raised profile, or what they call High Definition! Funny, everything today seems to be called HD. Anyway...you can really see the difference. On Monday, we had a huge really big, hard rain! I checked the ceilings in each of the rooms and the closets and found that we have no leaks what so ever. I double checked and even looked up in the attic and everything is nice a dry. Dry as a bone!
