This clinic is very good as long as you DO NOT see Dr. Glass. I saw him for the first time several years ago and he was completly rude. Recently my cat was sick, so I made a "first available" appointment which happend to be with him. He was awful again and despite the fact that my cat …

Dr. French and Dr. Hilledebrandt are fantastic. They love the animals and work with them. Each and everytime we have been there it has been a great experience. Even in times when our dogs were hurt. Can't say enough good stuff about them.

My search for a new grooming and boarding place is over! This place is by far the best in town. I've taken Gus several places and he never acted like he wanted to go in. We went here after a referral from the group at the dog park and was very grateful. He walked in and never looked back. Hi…

I am notorious for listing the good, bad, and ugly of establishments on Citysearch. But with Royalty, I can not say a bad thing about them. I have used Royalty for over ten years and have never had a bad experience. I have tried Petsmart, and Petco for grooming and each time come back here. Gary…

SheriI am so sorry that some cruel mean people broke in your shop and stole the adorable puppies. They injured the puppies in doing so. I hope these monsters are captured. My heart goes out to this horrible incident.

I'm sure anyone reading throught these reviews is by now, throughly confused! They all seem to run either hot or cold. I am a small hobby breeder of Persian cats and I show them successfully in the Cat Fancier's Association (CFA). I have been going to Dr. Rigoni for at least ten years and I woul…

The best in Houston! I have taken all of my seven Shih Tzu's there from 1987 until 1999 when I moved out of state. Randy & Henri are so loving to the precious animals. I sent.many, many friends there and they had the same experience.

I brought my dog for both doggie daycare and grooming. He was excited to return - a good sign! He was not stressed either time, so I know it was a good experience. The staff are definitely animal lovers -very kind and good with the dogs. I am so glad I found Rover Oaks!

Elizabeth grooms my Yorkie which was a rescue pup so she has some trust issues, but you can tell she just feels pretty when I go to pick her up. Elizabeth is to the point and gets the job done right every time! I am so glad I stumbled upon Scrub a Dub Dog Wash.

Pet parents can avoid most potential problems specific to the holidays by recognizing certain household dangers.
Yesterday I took 2 dogs to “The Pet’s Play Place” to be groomed. I was to pick them up about 1:30. At approximately 1:00 they called and said they had some problems with the older dog and I should pick the dogs up about 2:30. When I picked the dogs up, I asked what the problem was and was told that it wasn’t really my dogs but the dog before mine. When I got my dogs home, I realized that the younger dog was limping and trying not to put weight on her right front leg. I called “The Pet’s Play Place” and asked what happened. I was told that nothing had happened. When I picked the dog up to examine her more closely, she bit me. The dog has never bitten me or anyone else in the 6 years I have owned her. I took her to the vets. The vet examined her closely, said it was probably a soft tissue injury and put her on crate rest and pain meds. I called “ The Pet’s Play Place” the woman started screaming at me over the phone. “Are you calling me a liar?” Even today, with pain meds, this dog is not behaving normally. She is still limping, not putting weight on the leg, and is definitely in pain. I have had this dog groomed at PetsMart before and never had a problem. Something obviously happened but this groomer was not willing to own up to it. I would never trust a dog to their care.
Although I read the reviews on the page, I decided to give CS Pet Salon despite what others have wrote. I was hoping for a different outcome, but my experience was the worse I've ever experienced with a business owner. Suzette is the worse when it comes to answering the phones and does not return voicemails. I have literally had to drive up to the store just to make an appointment. I recently made an appointment for 9/1/17 and I showed up at 10 mins before the appointment and sat and waited 15 mins after the appointment, but Suzette never showed. I stopped by the store and asked why I was never called and I was told that I always complained. If asking why no one ever answers the phone or return voicemail is complaining, then it's her own fault for ever giving her customers a reason to complain. I would call them concerns, not complains. I would have much rather her told me from the beginning that my business was not welcome and I would have just turned around and found someone else. She had no problems taking my money the 2 times I was able to bring my dog in. Both times I had to pop up because of the lack of communication. She tells that she's been in business since 91, but I am very surprise that she remains in business with such crappy customer service. Maybe she's has those she cater to and then there are those like me that she would much rather not have in her establishment. This company is the worse and her services suck!!!
My poor little 17 year old Maltese, Pika, was literally butchered at Pampered Pet Inn on Bissonnet on 2/19/2016. . They had brutally shaved the hair between her eyes giving her bruising and cuts When I called to speak to the owner, she was very argumentative and would not agree to pay for the vet bill which would up being almost $100.
I made a reservation online for Thursday November 26 (Thanksgiving day) to drop off my puppy. I visited the facility earlier in November to meet the staff and confirm the appointment. I even asked the woman if she realized that it was Thanksgiving day, she acknowledged and agreed. I received a call on November 25th, at 4pm, that if I didn't drop off my dog, I wouldn't be able to drop him off at all. I explained that I had made the reservation for the 26th and did not want to drop him off on the 25th. I was threatened that if I didn't bring him in right away, that I would loose my reservation. Well, I was flying out on the 26th and could not take my dog with me (large breed). So I asked if I would have to pay for another day (because I did not want to drop him off), and I was replied to with, "Well, we're keeping him another day!" I told him I was on my way, as another reservation could not be made in time with another kennel. The man then called me no less than 5 times in the next hour saying that if I didn't bring him in soon, he would close and I wouldn't be able to drop him off. He told me later that he was doing me a favor because he normally closes at 5pm. I was no where near the kennel and had to go home and get arrange my dog's things (toys, vet records...etc). The man also asked me EVERY time he called if my dog had his bordatella shots, in which I replied yes EVERY time! When I arrived, the man looked at the FOLDER my dog's vet records were in and said, "This is not vet records..." I looked at him and said, "Yes, that's a folder, look inside." He opened it and said again, "This is still not vet records." I grabbed the folder and pulled the records out of the pocket in the folder and gave it to him. He looked at it and said, "There is no Bordatella record." I had to point it out to him. He can't read vet records? When I returned from vacation, I went immediately to pick him up and they couldn't find him. They then told me that they had "unknowingly" locked him in the cat room. My dog had green stuff running from his eyes, he was skinny, and had fleas! VERY UNHAPPY ALPHA K9! VERY UNHAPPY!
I haven't been yet I called this morning and they are booked until July 23rd said the person I spoke with.
The service was great and I felt the staff loved my Ginger Golden Retriever. She came back tail wagging and smelling great with her summer cut. I recommend.
BEWARE pet owners in West Houton. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!Lacks professionalism, the ability to take responsibility for injuring your pet, steep price and the icing on the cake is a COMPLAINT REPORT from the owner on how BAD BEHAVED and AGGRESSIVE your pet is! REALLY??? How about not injuring them, speaking up so we could seek help from vet or down right simple PROVIDE EXCELLENT SERVICE wrapped up with care and compassion for our four legged family member! SIMPLY REVOLTING!!!!!!
I am very happy with the job they do on my Bernese Mountain Dog, she has very long thick hair & the cut they give her compliments her shape nicely.
My wife and I took our female cat to have her spayed, we searched for the best prices and found Alpha K-9. They were very helpful, we dropped her off at 10 and was able to pick her up at 2! It was soo fast. They had friendly staff and were very knowledgeable in what was going on. They answered all of our questions with no problems.
I would not recommend this place at all! My dog is at the emergency hospital having surgery as I type this as a result of what happened today. I dropped my dog off at 10:30am Saturday to have a normal grooming. By 3:30pm I hadn't heard anything, so I stopped by the facility to check status. My dog was actually on the table at the front being groomed at that time and the owner asked me to come back in 30 minutes because she wasn't done yet. After 30 minutes I returned and asked how it went. She stated that he did okay, though he didn't like it when his nails were cut. She asked me what happened to his eye. And I said nothing, he was fine. She said it was cloudy and red. When she brought him out, his eye was protruding from his head!!! Here's the bad part. She essentially said that it happened before I dropped him off because nothing happened while he was in her care. I said that wasn't true, that even 30 minutes before when I stopped by, he was just fine. She continued to state that nothing happened in her care and that it was like that all along! What kind of groomer would even attempt to bathe a dog when their eye was half way out of his head?I pleaded to just let me know what happened so I could tell the vet. Was it trauma? Did her scissors slip? Did he get into a fight with another dog? She kept saying that he was like that the entire time and nothing happened while in her care. Interestingly, the vet stated that this can sometimes happen to his breed because they have large eyes. Any trauma will cause it, but so can pressure. Like the kind of pressure from a collar. Or from a hand trying to hold his head still. So, while my pup is at the emergency hospital and they are trying to salvage his eye sight (because most protrusions result in the blindness and the loss of the eye), I find myself writing this review because I want others to know. That lady hid the truth and denied everything. If she would have just been accountable and said, I know he wasn't like that when you dropped him off, but something happened, and I have no idea how it happened, that would have been one thing. But to insist that she had nothing to do with it and it happened prior to being dropped off... That is unacceptable.I realize accidents happen. But honesty... That's not too much to ask for when you leave your animals in another person's care. Integrity. I demand that. And she simply didn't deliver.
