Eight years ago, after a lot of interviewing, researching and pondering, we decided to go with Dawson Foundation for a huge project that necessitated us to move out of the house. They were the best professionals in the field, starting with Mr. Dawson, his associates and all the crews. We had a major problem a couple of months ago, because our slab was in poor condition. Mr. Dawson came in again, and was extremely fair and accomodating. His associates, Richard Morant and David Mayer are true gentlemen, very professional and knowledgeable. The crews are fantastic, they know what they are doing, they are very responsive and responsible. I cannot say that I enjoyed having them over because of the nature of their work, but I doubt there is a better way to go about it than what they have done. Do not look elsewhere. I cannot recommend them enough. They work with Accurate Plumbing and Chip (the owner) is also a gentleman. Those people know what they are doing and they do it well and no corners cut! I wouldn't do business with anybody else.
Extreme is definitely a five-star company. My house (and I) received topnotch treatment by both Thomas and JC when they repaired my foundation, painted the entire exterior, installed a new support beam above the garage then added spectacular stonework above it, completely renovated the garage apartment – including new bath and kitchenette, removed old flooring and installed new tile throughout much of the first floor, updated the bath tub in one bath and created a beautiful tile-and-glass shower in the other. I had great confidence going into the project based on their credentials, but more so, the fact that they clearly were not trying to talk me into doing anything unnecessary. I believe I received solid advice for updates that improved the value of my property. Throughout the project, JC kept me updated on their progress with good cheer and respect. I’m so happy that I used Extreme for projects that will pay off down the road while giving me years of pleasure. Extreme is terrific!
My husband and I spoke with Thomas and he came out the next day to speak with us regarding our foundation problems. We had recently used a company who we thought knew what they were doing. The price they quoted was around $125.00 a pier... Which was a great price we thought, until we realized 6 months later after the fact that we still have the same issue. And now Ruben will not come back out and make good on his BS warranty. As Thomas explained to us you have to have the knowledge and experience necessary to correctly repair foundations right the first time. Now we are learning the hard way! We were given a free complete graph drawing about why our home was doing what it is doing and the CORRECT way to repair it. BUYERS BEWARE! When it comes to foundation repairs you get what you pay for, period! Now we have to pay again to have the cheap piers removed and replaced correctly. Lesson learned the hard way!
