The company specializes in working with nickel, cobalt, aluminum, titanium and high-temperature alloys, as well as hastelloy, Inconels and all stainless steels. KomTek s casting operation began in 1984 and specializes in the production of nickel- and cobalt-based super alloys for use in the aerospace and medical prosthetics markets. The company s forging operation, formerly Holbrook Forge, features spring-mounted, programmable banning hammers that produce close-tolerance stainless, aluminum, high-temperature, titanium, nickel and cobalt forgings that range in size from a few ounces to 20 pounds. With more than 70 employees, the company s Worcester, Mass., facility can produce products in runs from 25 pieces to more than 100,000. KomTek Technologies is a division of KT Acquisition.
