Absolutely best methadone clinic I've ever been to. It's a 30 minute drive from my home and it's not in the best part of town, but it's well worth it. I tried a clinic in McKinney and Plano which were much closer to me but they were so unwelcoming, had a 3 week waiting list, was very judgemental and just made u feel bad for being an addict, as well as made u wait for at least 30 minutes in a waiting room with other addicts who arent very serious about getting help. At LSC, u are greeted with open arms, they're so kind and helpful and they uunderstand addiction is a disease and treat u as such, instead of as a criminal. Everyone is always very nice and open and willing to talk if u ever need. If ever there's a line, which is very rare, the wait is always very short, 5-10 min TOPS. They're so understanding that u have jobs and responsibilities and have to take time out of every day to drive out there to dose so they always help to get u in and out the door as quick as possible to get uon ur way. My counselor Jim is great, the nurse is great, the doctor is great, the owner, Keisha, is so wonderful. She's always there and is so involved in all of her patient's progress and treatment. The first day I walked in I was in so much pain, physically and emotionally, and ready to do anything to stop feeling the way I was, I opened the door and immediately started sobbing uncontrollably and she hugged me, grabbed me some tissues, and assured me I was in the right place, and she and everyone there was gonna do everything in their power to help and support me in my recovery. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful program, so worth the drive. So happy I found them. Privately owned clinics are so much better than corporate/govt. funded clinics that treat u like a number. They truly make a difference in helping u to recover.
bad experience here calling the police on the homeless havin attitude with people that be seen sick dichargein them to fast not admitting them for a day or to to heal cafeteria workers rude some nurses address this issue

This was my first time for Walnut Hill. I thought it was the best experience I had at a Hospital. Dr Darryl Kawalsky is my Doctor and he is the best Cardiologist. If you need a stent or more, Dr Steven Meyer is a good choice. He seems to be able to do things that other Interventionist can't d…

Well, my mother received a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) from this hospital. Mind you, the right side of her heart is the worst. So they placed the pump. She stayed there about 3 to 4 more months after surgery. Then they decide to throw her in a nursing home where they know nothing about LVAD patients. Instead of doctors at UT doing their research as doctors, they were more hung up on my mothers emotional distress, and mental issues. These are doctors, aren't they supposed to research?? I just feel like they placed this pump in my mothers heart, then said ok we're done, bye! Oh, your mother can't get up, or walk, well we'll just throw her in a nursing home and just forget about this patient. Maybe this patient was too complex for doctors to deal with. I asked them several times, should I take her to Baylor heart? They simply said that Baylor would not accept my mother because UT put the pump in. So now I'm like well, who will be willing to help? If something happens to my mother, UT ST. Paul hospital would be the blame because they didn't event have the decency or professionalism to check on a patient with mental disabilities. Oh yea, they had a Nurse practitioner covering the case. That's like sending the weather man to give breaking news. These people have made my family's life HELL. Think they give a crap. Heck no!!
I am 37 years old and occasionally suffer from a car accident where I was broad-sided (t-boned) when I was 19 years old. It keeps me from doing heavy exercises without pain or stiffening - it's definitely manageable, but annoying at times. I went in and met with Dr Lohr and his staff; I really liked the team at Posture Perfect - all very nice folks that made me feel at home! They took me through the entire clinic explaining what will be done to hhelp lessen the pain and I was adjusted by Dr Long. Seeing X-Rays of my spine and neck was kind of cool, but also helped me understand where some of my issues are. I'll definitely do a follow-up visit and am looking forward to learning more about proper nutrition / diet from Dr. Lohr. If you have issues and recurrent pain from a car accident, then I recommend seeing these guys! You'll be glad you did!
The hospital is very clean. The nurses and doctors were wonderful. My Mom was very sick and we were so scared that she wasn't going to make it. The wonderful staff there made us feel very comfortable and at ease. We stayed with Mom for the first several days and met many wonderful people. After that we knew she was getting the best care. We even met the CEO. He was always visiting with famalies, other patients, and his staff. I have never seen a CEO of a hospital doing any of that. The doctor we had saw us every day. He took the time to answer all of our questions. He was truly a God send. This is the best hospital I have ever been in.
I suggest you get accurate information before putting things like this online. I know the DON and she was not fired from all of those facilities. Furthermore, it says a lot of a person's character and how they value as well as treat their employees when the employees are willing to follow them to their next position. It is obvious that you are one of those disgruntled employees that was fired. As I stated, I have known the DON personally for more than 40 yrs and if she fires anyone then they weren't doing their job. PERIOD
This was my first time for Walnut Hill. I thought it was the best experience I had at a Hospital. Dr Darryl Kawalsky is my Doctor and he is the best Cardiologist. If you need a stent or more, Dr Steven Meyer is a good choice. He seems to be able to do things that other Interventionist can't do. Hands down, the hospital we would go to. Great staff, equipment, food was fine. This is something I found nice, the bed was actually good. The last hospital I was in, had beds like sleeping on the floor.
FYI, I called an ambulance because I couldn't pee & the driver took me to the Walnut Hill Medical Center, instead of Presbyterian Hospital-Dallas.Quite frankly, I was flabbergasted that everyone was so polite, friendly & helpful.I might have a little constructive criticism; however, this is my recommendation:If you live in the area & need to go to an emergency room, GO TO THE WALNUT HILL MEDICAL CENTER!!!
My husband and I recently started with LSC and we were so embarrassed and nervous to go the first day. But to our surprise everyone there welcomed us with open arms. They treat you like family. We had several options to choose from closer to area but decided to drive an extra 20 minutes every morning due to how these people treated us. They have truly made a bad situation comfortable!
this is why I like going here: I'm in and out quick. Im not a patient person, plus I have alot of things to do in a day, including work, so I appreciate that they respect that my time is valuable too. Secondly, I believe it is important to have a doc tor with the same faith based values that I have, and I have that with this lovely couple of Doctors.
I was injured at work and I was referred to Dr. Rogers at Central Rehab. I was amazed on how friendly and helpful the staff was with assisting with all my paperwork. Dr Rogers was very knowledgeable in explaining the pain that i was experiencing regarding my injury. I would recommend this facility for work injuries personal injuries.
