RJ Mexican Cuisine: Great Seafood - Steaks - Chicken - Ribs Dallas, TX Review Date: 08/27/2008 OH My Goodness... I wasn't really in the mood for Mexican Food when I walked in there but I kept an open mind and I was blown away. Starting with the hot and spicy salsa...it wasn't enough to drive me away from it but it was enough to make my nose run and want some water. It was delish! I order Tacos and they were wonderful. Although I expected to get a typical taco with meat, cheese, lettuce and so but it came out with just meat and cheese and I was surprised with how much flavor it boasted. It came with a side of refried beans (which I usually hate) but they were also wonderful, slightly creamier than normal but they drew in a wonderful garlic accent with some additional spices I couldn't put my toungue on. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff was wonderful and a delight, RJ even opened the door for us. Even though it was raining, they opened up the patio for us so we could have a drink out there and be able to smoke. I would definately revisit them and I would recommend it to anyone.

From Business: Komali in Nahuatl, the Aztec language, means Comal, the griddle were Mexicans cook their tortillas. Komali serves a menu of Regional and Modern Mexican Cuisine. Komali serves hand-made tortillas, fresh salsas, great seafood and meat dishes.
Great restaurant for the money. Great waitstaff. Thursday nights are great have an Elvis impersonator there. The sour cream and chicken enchiladas, chips, salsa and margaritas are wonderful.

1800 Main StDallas, TX 75201
From Business: The idea behind "Wild Salsa" began with a need to bring authentic cultura Mexicana and cuisine to downtown Dallas. In the Texas spirit, we wanted to create a restaurant that brought together pride, celebration and bold flavor for an experience that is truly deliciosa.
13. La Calle Doce
If you are in the mood for REAL I mean REAL mexican seafood, this is the best place to go to in Dallas. I always start with the ""La Calle Doce Margarita"" (includes ur choice of Jimador, Herradura, or Cazadores tequila) and a platter of CEVICHE tostadas. This dish has succulent plump pieces of…
I normally dislike most other Telmex/Mexican. Most are either low quality or overpriced. They have some of the best Telmex/Mexican food I have ever had. There chicken enchilada is always fresh and never dry. I never really craved enchiladas intel I had there's. The staff is very friendly. Only …

If you are looking for fantastic Mexican food, go to Julios. Great service, delicious margaritas, and the absolute best beef fajitas you will eat!!
This is the BEST Tex-Mex around!!! Try their signature entrées and The Mariano Margarita!!! The atmosphere is so cool and inviting... fun fact: the owner invented the frozen margarita machine. The service is excellent. They take great care of you. This is also a great place to bring your kids.
21. El Chico

I was interested in something light and flavorful. El Chico granted my wish. The fresh table side guacamole was the best. Then I ordered the tortilla soup. It was the best tortilla soup I have ever eaten. You could defintely tell it was made from scratch and the flavor was perfect. The La …
24. El Ranchito
This is the real deal, complete with cabritto grilling on hibachis at the table. Mariachis stroll around and the decor is like a lodge with lots of heavy wood furnishings and the wagon wheel chandiliers. A fun and moderatly priced restaurant.
Exceptional! Best Mexican we've eaten since living in California! Homemade tortillas, fajitas and quesadillas were amazing, salsa packed heat & wonderfully fresh (bought some to go), lunchtime service was exceptional, and moderately priced. Already discussing a road trip back to Dallas!
Decided to treat myself to a shrimp cocktail at this restaurant. I enjoyed the food the waiteress were nice, not very attentive but nice nonetheless. The cocktail was as expected , Good . I would definitely return and try more of the menu.
Tried the three-week old restaurant Friday night. The staff was Extremely friendly (is it possible to be Too nice?) We found the decor to be non-existent, aside from pretty wall paint. The salsa was excellent, refried beans and rice forgettable, but the beans in the cup with juice were great. My friend's enchiladas casero were under seasoned, dryish and strange somehow, my grilled chicken with poblanos, onions and cheese was cooked well, but the waiter had to point out where the cheese was on the chicken (not a good place to skimp!) I had to use my glasses. Because it's close, we'll give them another chance to get it right.
Uncle Julio's is a good Tx-Mex resturant. Very popular. The bad things about it are ... It is very popular, so may have to wait on a table and the menu is a bit pricey. Now the good news. Unclie Julio's the without any question in my mind the very best place for beef Fajita's in Texas. They ought to market their beef marinade. If they did they would make a fortune. Twenty years ago when I first started going to Uncle Julio's they were very reasonably priced. I blame Addison and the Addison store for driving prices up. Still, if you tatste Uncle Julio's beef fahita's, every other fahita you ever eat will seem second best.
EVERY TIME WE ARE IN DALLAS WE ALWAYS HAVE TO EAT AT GONZALES AT LEAST ONCE. ALEX AND HIS FAMILY ARE GREAT. I USE TO LIVE DALLAS SEVERAL YEARS AGO. NO I LIVE PHOENIX, AZ. I recently tried this new restaurant last week , and it was amazing all of the employees were very friendly and respectful . they give you alot of attention , and treat you like you are at home . It is very clean, new and beautiful . You have a choice to eat outside in the front patio , inside down stairs , inside upstairs or upstairs patio. They have all kinds of amazing food , i had the shrimp cocktail and it was delicious ! My husband had the steak ranchero and said it was the best ! The chips and salsa they serve you is also very good, I recommend this place , it was perfect , go and try it out !
This is a wonderful overall experience, if good food is what you're after. There's not a bad item on the menu. I especially enjoy the beef plate, a generous portion of fajita beef with half a lime and tortillas, rice and beans. The dining room is always clean and pleasant, but more often I take the order home to the family, to share at our own dining table. Pricing is very reasonable, too, so I always feel I get a good value. The kitchen has an open concept, so you can see that it's always clean. The counter staff, and the folks behind them making it happen, are always pleasant and courteous.
I was there with my family today ;it was my first time and i had Victorias Combo Plate i didnt expect the food to be so good ! The brisket was Delicious ! The service was great , my server's name was Javier and he was the best ! TheMargaritas are extraordinary ! They are really going above and beyond ! They made me feel like i was at home . It is the first time they treat my family and i so special , we have been to other restaurants but not like this one . The food is the best , i honestly recommend it .
I've had alot of good experiences at this place, but today was different... Apparently they don't know how to take orders over the phone!! They only got one thing down wtf??!! I order over the phone so I could just pick up my order and go, but no I had to wait cause the idiot waitress doesn't know how to do her SIMPLE job!! And by the way I ordered a chile relleno and it was not good at all! The tacos were great tho!! Anyways I like this place but will not be doing take out ever from herf!!!
Hard to find good Mexican Food, but I finally did. Best I've ever had plus giant portions. The chips and salsa are out of this world. The drinks are the best in town. Service is outstanding and the waiters are extremely friendly and the waiters are very attentive to your needs. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends. Extremely relaxing atmosphere and great outdoor patio. If you don't try this restaurant, you are totally missing out. Will definitely go again.
We sat down around 7:45 on a Saturday night; not too busy yet, but it started to get busy while we were eating. The food was great, but the service was a little slow. It took a few times asking for our waiter to bring us what we asked for. We ordered pitchers of margaritas which took a lot longer to get to our table than they should have. Great food and great patio space though; the fish tacos were great! Primo's is still a great spot in Uptown.
