Driving home from a visit with some dear friends who live in Spring Arbor, we stopped in the Slice of Spice pizzaria. We could not believe our discovery. I do not normally take the time to write reviews about businesses, but we had such an awesome dining experience I just had to share it. It is one of those places that kind of surprises you when you walk in. A very very nice casual dining place. We shared a salad (waitress recommended we split because they are big and she was right). We had a brick oven Hawaiian (pineapple, bacon and ham). Best I've ever had.

Our bill was only $22 for the two of us. I do not know where you can get a pizza and salad that good at such a nice place for only $11 each.

We will eat there again, I am sure. I envy my dear friends in Spring Arbor who can dine at Slice of Spice anytime they want to. Makes me want to move from Adrian. Wish we had a Slice of Spice in Adrian.

I have visited Slice of Spice,...

I have visited Slice of Spice, with my girlfriend, as many as three times a week. When we go there the waitperson knows what drinks we want and automatically brings them.

I find Mary and Dan very friendly, they try to wald around and chat with the customers.

The waitpersons are the friendlyest I have come accrossed in a long time. Every time we go there two or three of them ask us how we have been since our last visit.

In comment to BIll and wife: go back and give this place a second try. Don't be so closed minded. One bad visit does not make a place not worth trying again especially one that is just starting out. And what did you prove by tipping the waitress that way? OMG grow up. If you don't like the service then don't tip. And NO I'm not a member of the family, the wait staff or the even a inhabitor of your fine state.

Read a review about this new restaurant and wanted to see what it was all about. My sister and I stopped on a Saturday night. Great food, wonderful pizza sauce and the stuffed mushrooms were to die for. The owners, Dan and Mary Laughlin were very friendly, encouraging us to come back again. I'll be going back again, and again!!
