General Info: Founded in 1951, the BDFWA is a volunteer-based, non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders by providing caring support, quality education and targeted advocacy aimed at enhancing medical care and insurance coverage for our community. We provide a variety of educational, fun and exciting programs for the bleeding disorder community. We encourage everyone to get involved, including attending an event or program, becoming a member, volunteering, or by making a monetary or in-kind donation. Our foundation is small, but we serve many. Our executive director and board are dedicated to strengthening and growing our organization to better serve the bleeding disorder community.
