We had a chicken pasta and a shrimp pasta. The shrimp pasta was very flavorful. The prices are a bit on the high side, but a great place to eat. The food smelled so good that I forgot to take pictures.

Big fan of their roasted chicken (very flavorful) and roasted veggies. I always get a side of their sauteed mushrooms, too, which are so delish.
It's seen better days. It seems past its expiration date. It was dark and stuffy inside. Lots of tourists. Overpriced, ok food. Nothing special or innovative. I guess it's perfect for the older crowd who doesn't like change.

Despite a very busy room that night, the hostess and manager went out of their way more than once to accommodate some special needs of someone in our party, which everyone at the table really appreciated.On the food side, everything was delicious starting with the roasted veggie plate and burrata starters. The sole was as good as I've ever tasted; fresh fish, perfectly seasoned and crusted. My girlfriend opted for the osso buco risotto tossed in parmesan. A whole block of osso buco sat in the middle of her plate surrounded by a cheesy risotto infused with the flavors of the braised veal shank. In a nod to my her low-carb diet, she ate only about half of the risotto portion... which took incredible will power!Although we did not take advantage of it on this first visit, the cheese selection alone warrants another visit. And no question, there will be another visit next time I am in town!
My daughter's birthday lunch couldn't have been better. Food was great - you MUST try their hand-made ravioli - and staff was extremely attentive. We had the best time and felt welcomed throughout. We'll definitely be back (very) soon!
Best Italian food I have ever had
I went here for DineLA on a Saturday night. The space is a touch crowded, but all three courses were delicious. I had a chilled seafood salad, fish puttanesco, and gellato. It was nice to find some lighter items on the menu.
Really good pizza, New York style
For the longest time the only thing I knew about Fritto Misto was the huge crowd of people waiting outside every night for a table. We finally tried it for lunch on a weekend and we were one of only a handful of people there. I finally understand now why there's a huge line out the door! The fresh, not dried, pasta is absolutely a revelation from a restaurant. The pesto sauce was full of flavor and, despite the fact that I was planning on only eating half and saving the rest, I ended up porking the entire thing down in one sitting.Obviously, in the middle of the day, there's not much atmosphere, but I can guarantee you'll get a good pasta meal here, so if you want to brave the crowds, head here on an evening, or if you want the place to yourself, try it for lunch on a weekend
Went here for a date night with the husband - as some other reviewers said, it's pretty pricey. That said, for a nice date night and delicious food, it is worth it every once in a while depending on your budget. The atmosphere is romantic and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. My husband ordered the octopus salad and I ordered the minestrone soup to start. Both were fantastic! I had a few bites of my husband's dish and it was so good that I wanted to order a second. My minestrone was also delicious, a hearty vegetable soup with great flavor. For our mains we ordered the whole branzino special and the seafood (clams, mussels, shrimp) with spaghetti. The branzino was delicious, but a lot of work since my husband ordered it whole and had to de-bone it himself. This was his choice though, and he loved it, but just an FYI when ordering. My husband also said there was a little more salt than he would have preferred, but I tasted it and loved the salt crust, so I think that's personal preference. My spaghetti was cooked al dente and the shellfish were fresh and delicious. They also chopped up some scallops in the dish, which was a nice surprise. For dessert we had the crema di amaretto, which was creamy, rich delightfulness. Overall we really enjoyed our meal here and will be back.
