NO! I was just going to leave them a glowing review and I see they are closed!! I really hope it's temporary or that they're moving to a new location. Anyone know?
Food is amazing as well are the specialty drinks. Staff is well versed on the ingredients and preparation. If you look at this place with the eyes of knowing that everything is a form of delicious art, then the long wait for your drinks will be an expected pleasure rather than an inconvenience. The mango Alexander is terrific and the durian custard is a perfect end to your meal.
Wow this place completely blew my circuits. It’s some of the best Thai/Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. Definitely worth of its accolades. The fish sauce wings are called ‘crack wings’ for a reason. They’re the perfect combination of sweet, savory and crunchy. I could eat two orders of these myself. Other stand-outs were the minced pork salad, the Chiang Mai sausage and the Hoi Thawt which is a crepe-like dish with seafood. Cocktails were refreshing and paired well with the spicy food. My friends and I had such a great experience and I can’t wait to get back to Portland to try Pok Pok again.
Excellent food and owners!!
This place is almost hidden. Been here a few times for my pad thai fix. Setting is warm and comfortable. Would totally come here again for some good thai food!
Need more flavor in Pad Kee Mao
the pumpkin curry - creative and good. yellow curry with chicken - pretty standard but still good. the dining area is quaint and the staff nice. my only criticism is they try to fill your water too much - give me some space!also the downtime between lunch and dinner service is inconvienient.4/5 try it out.
This is a small place with a very friendly feel. The food is out of this world good, the prices are very reasonable and the people make you feel at home. The first time that we dined there, we were greeted like we were old friends. By the way, the curry is to die for! Yum with a capital Y!
