Founded in 1962, Hygrade Precision Technologies Inc. specializes in precision contract machining, grinding and lapping services. Based in Plainville, Conn., the company operates a 40,000-square foot facility and is one the largest flat grinding facility in the northeast. Some of the products and services offered by it include flat grinding, flat lapping, cylindrical grinding, computer numerical control multi-axis machining, as well as non-destructive testing and inspection services. The company works with various trade associations, such as the Connecticut Tooling & Machining Association (CTMA), National Tooling & Machining Association (NTMA), Manufacturing Alliance of Connecticut (MAC) and Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA).
