If I could give this man zero stars, I would. I took in my husband's suit and my daughter's bridesmaid dress to be sized down. They were both very large and needed quite a bit of work. I would like to say that this man's accent is irritatingly difficult to understand and the word "what?" was used over 20 times. As he was measuring and marking my husband's suit, I asked for a price and he said $180. As he was marking and measuring my daughter's dress, I also asked for a price. He belittled me for ordering on line when people should be going "into the stores to shop". I told him that regardless of that, the dress was $120 and we could not return it, as it was a custom order. Clearly, he did not understand internet shopping or the reason why people do that. He then said that the cost to alter the dress would be expensive, about the cost of the dress. I told him that there was nothing I could do and that I felt I had no choice. We went to pick up the items today and he said the suit was $180 (agreed), and the dress was $250. I was shocked and when I tried to question him about the elevated cost, he said he never told me a price, and that it would be expensive. My daughter, my husband and I all heard him say "it will be about the cost of the dress". After trying so hard to understand why he was charging me over twice the price, I asked him a couple of times why he didnt call me when he realized the price was going to be $250. He threw his hands up in the air and said it was expensive. He didnt want to talk about it anymore and after i gave him a check (he really wanted cash), he told my husband and I that he didnt need us and to get out. I have never been so insulted or taken advantage of before encountering this man. It was a horrible, expensive experience that I dont ever want anyone else to go through.
Agree with the most recent reviews...this place is great! Very reasonably priced. The girl who does the tailoring is lovely, her work is excellent. Bring all my dry cleaning and tailoring here.
This is my first time here .the girl helping me so nice and hem my jean with the original hem . It cost alittle more compare with the lady I go before (she retired ) but the hem turn outl nice
now this place reopen by young lady they do good business the old owner already retired .so stop by see the new management every thing new and good service
I had a similar experience except with their dry cleaning service. I went in to pick up on the day they said it would be done and she couldn't find my clothes. First she said my wife already picked it up, then she said they might have given it to someone else. At that time she turned on the rotating rack which went around about 8 times and she checked every ticket more than once. Then there was the frantic call to the boss, all in chinese so I couldnt understand. Then we went through the excuses again until she told me they might not be done yet, after about 15 or 20 mins of this, I told her I would be back the next day and they better have my clothes done...which they did. I don't think they speak or understand english very well and that clearly adds to the disorganization the business seems to be in. Hard to understand how they stay in business. Sadly I agree with the other reviewer, DO NOT do business here unless you want a additional headaches and your time wasted.
