I have been getting my hair cut there for many years. Always a good hair cut. They take walk-ins, but they are usually pretty busy, so it is better to call for an appointment. It is a good barber shop with no gimmicks.
Gerald has been cutting hair for close to 40 years and really does an amazingly precise hair cut. Friendly, excellent and the price is right!
He sure seems like a great barber, and is busy all of the time.
One of my bucket list things was to get "an old fashioned shave" I was fortunate enough to get the owner as my barber and it was an amazing experience. It was awesome to hear about his schooling background and his humble beginnings when he opened his shop. I hate going into Omaha for a multitude of reasons (I'm a hermit) but I will gladly take a drive down to this location just for a shave and/or a cut. I highly recommend this barbershop to ALL the gents.
If you don't look like the usual client, don't expect a good visit. My hair is very long and thick. It WAS almost to the lower part of my back. I asked for a trim and light layers and left with uneven hair. Th stylist even told me "it's uneven on the sides, but that doesn't really matter." He cut my hair without ever asking "is this too short? Is this okay." What a waste of time and money. Just three more months until my hair is managable again. unless your a man, don't go here. And if you are a woman don't let the large stylist with long dyed brown hair come close to your locks.
