Ackerman's representatives are very rude and they are not helpful to the customer. They do not listen to your concerns. I even spoke with a supervisor named Leroy Nelson and he was very rude. Just wanted to share that they will not do anything to help you cancel your service with them.
THEY THREATEN THEIR CUSTOMERS BY TELLING THEM THEY'RE GOING TO CALL THE CUSTOMERS INSURANCE COMPANY AND TELL THEM THAT THEY NO LONGER HAVE ALARM SERVICES. THEY DO THAT SO YOU WILL NOT CANCEL THEM. THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS OTHER ALARM COMPANIES.
I HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND LET THEM KNOW THAT I WOULD BE CHANGING SERVICE FROM ACKERMAN'S SECURITY TO ANOTHER COMPANY.
BECAUSE OF THEIR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REFUSAL TO SEND ME A DOCUMENT.

Thank you for your recent review. As a company we always value customer feedback. We’re sorry that our service has been unsatisfactory, as we pride ourselves on just that - SERVICE. There are a variety of plans where equipment is installed at low or no fees in exchange for a specified commitment of time with the service, not unlike other industries (cell phones for example). If the agreement was being terminated early, there may have been some discussion regarding the remaining time of the agreement, which may not have been to your satisfaction. We apologize and encourage you to call our customer service if there is something we can work out.
I am extremely pleased with the work done by Joel D Missoff, a comercial Service Technitian. Joel was extremely professional, courteous and provided excellent service this past week when seeing to our alarm needs. Akerman should be proud to have such a qualified and professional technitian.
I very much appreciate the level of customer service I receive from Ackerman Security. The last time I called their office I spoke with Denise and she was outstanding. I appreciate their courteous service.
