A year ago, I bought an old 1981 Suzuki GS750 in rough condition, and soon realized it was more than my skill level to get running right. Who knows how many previous owners worked on trying to make it run before me, but they were not mechanics. I brought it to Steve’s worried he would turn me away and tell me to take my pile of junk with me. Lol. I’ve been turned down before at another shop; they didn’t work on older bikes. Not the case at Steve's, but Steve did say he would inspect it and let me know if it was worth fixing. Well to put it simply, Steve and his crew are experts with old bikes like mine, and my bike ran awesome after they made it a safe, reliable bike. A year later, it needed a little bit more service, I took it back to Steve’s and I was back riding it a few days later running like new again. Thanks to Steve and Brian and anybody else working there.
Steve and Brian are great people to know. Steve has been in business at their current location for at least twenty years that I know about, and you don't stick around that long if you are B.S.
Brian oversees the Service Department. He has a bunch of 1st class techs working there who know their stuff. They have both the resources and the knowledge to get your job done right, at a very fair price.
What I personally value about this shop is that it is not too big and not too small. Steve has always been fair too me and has always stood behind his products and services.
If you ride and live any where near Mesa, and value personalized service by good people, you owe yourself visit to this shop.
I took both my 1979 Honda and my 1998 Honda in and both were serviced great. Brian in service was very good. These guys go the extra mile. I spent a lot of money here, but that's not their fault. I checked their prices against others and Steve's is a good deal.
I come to Steve's once ever 3-6 months and have always had excellent service on my quads. Every November we come in and stock up on glamis apparel and Dune passes. I came in and had all the tires replaced on all 3 of my squads, I called the local shops and by far saved lots of $ coming to Steve. He also has great mechanics in the back room that really take good care of you and strive to keep the customer happy, this is why I keep coming back to this shop.
Fixed a mc tire with only 200 miles on it when I thought I would have to throw it away and was very fair with the labor cost. Told me about a sealer balancer that worked plus took some or the road noise out of the tires. Just had the seals replaced in my fork tubes at a fraction of what brand x wanted. I've told everyone I know that rides about Steve's. Will be back!!
WAY TO GO STEVE. I hope she read AND understood your response. Tom C.
A friend told me about this place and I came to check it out, ended up spending good money on quality gear. Met the owner he was knowledgable and friendly. Will def. Be back in the future.
Awesome service, knowledgable and friendly staff, I will be taking my bike here again!
Came in today to pick up a few new tires, helmets, and goggles for the upcoming dune season. They had a great selection of all accessories at fair prices. I had a great experience from start to finish and will most definitely be back nxt week for dune passes.
I'm glad to hear Steve is back, when it was not "Steve's" I was less than satisfied. Before that, Steve was great, did great work and the relaxed vibe was what I wanted out of a motorcycle shop. I'll be heading back there for parts and service.
