Taste Bistro Cafe

This place is DEFINITELY worth making the trip out of your way! They are in a medical office building, but really, with their fabulous homemade food, I really see them more in a caf in Silverlake, Atwater or Echo Park. I had a veggie breakfast burrito with bacon and it was out of this world! All of the ingredients were fresh and it was assembled very neatly (you could easily eat it on the go!) It was HUGE and definitely enough for two servings. The owner (manager?) who was wonderfully charming (I could totally see him as a sommelier at a place like Patina Restaurant) offered me a sample of their Soup of the Day, which was a robust and hearty homemade lentil soup with a real zip to it. I will definitely be back to enjoy their other homemade luncheon items!rite, or highly recommended because
