Terrible customer service. As they dump the can into the truck trash flies out and they don't pick it up. My ditch would look like a major highway if we didn't pick up after them. They change drivers and times of pickup about every month, so you never know when they will pick it up if at all. Living in the country we can't have garbage cans left out without animals digging through the trash. I guess it's the same when they pick it up. Lol

Waste Connections, while cheap, has extremely poor billing practices. I was told it was one price per month then started receiving bills each month for different amounts each month. Called several times and they told me to ignore what the billing statement said (should have been a warning ) and just pay the original quoted price. At so.e point, unknown to me, they decided the amount they billed me was for real. Now they are saying I owe them for past statements. Found the whole billing scheme bizarre and unprofessional. Have talked to others who had the same experience. This was completely pointless. A business class at a local community college would be a big help to them.
Is it possible to have negative stars? They have totally ignored my garbage more than once. Then when I call they ignored it again when they said they would pick it up the next day. They didn't pick it up until the next scheduled pickup. I paid them to take my garbage and they ignored me, took my money and ran with it. Also they don't like rain, snow or mud. Now they still charge us and won't pick it up even if it's not muddy. Even if combines and semi trucks are on our road and our driveway to get the crops. Waste Connections will just laugh and say no we don't want our shoes to get dirty and then ask "have you paid us this month"? If you call they will lie and tell you they will pick it up on xx day. No they won't. My suggestion is that if your garbage is ignored by them.... take it to their office and leave it on their porch.
They pick up yard waste. Where we came from that didn't happen. In fact they pick up anything we leave out if we call ahead for unusual items. We think they're great.
Worst service I've received from any company in any industry....From day 1 of service, I was supposed to receive recycling containers and recycling service in addition to regular garbage services. I called once a week for 5 weeks before they ever showed up with the recycling containers. On top of that, we've had the recycling containers for three weeks now and they've not picked up our recycling once even though it's been at the curb. Tired of messing around with this company so I'm changing providers.
Erickson Refuse in unresponsive. Most recently...they didn't pick up bound branches and bagged yard waste that my family spent 2 entire days cutting and binding correctly to meet their disposal standards. When I called the "office", I was told they made a mistake and would send a truck to pick up the expanse of branches, etc. first thing the next morning. AND they didn't. No one was interested in helping me resolve the issue in a fair, timely manner...even though they admit the fault is all theirs.
Truck are leaking oil!Nasty customer service, i stop by to tell them about oil leak the Bruce's brother just caste me out of their parking lot cursing and threatening me with his layer.I wouldn't give them any star it all!
I've called 5 times to ask Erickson Refuse to deliver a new garbage can/toter to us, because they broke ours. No response and now I'm going on week 2 of not having a garbage can. This can't possibly be how they run their business?? I will be reporting them to the City of Lincoln.
