The Signature room is where my son wanted to celebrate his 21st birthday. We went for the wonderful view, but found the service and food wonderful as well. We were seated at a corner window table and had great views of the city. There were seven of us, six ordered filets and one salmon. The salads, soups and entrees were all very good. They really made the evening special bringing the birthday boy a fresh fruit sundae with chocolate writing on the plate. The dinners cost about $100.00 per person including 2 drinks per person, coffee, tax and tip. Not the place we would go to often, but was wonderful for a special occasion. Our waiter was a joy, he has worked there for many years, had great advice, and a great sense of humor. We really loved the place. If you want to have a window table on a Saturday night, make reservations no later than 6:00.
I stayed overnight here after my boss suggested it. Now when I come to Chicago, this is my favorite place to stay. It's great to get a concert and dinner package and then peruse downtown on a hot summer night. The accomodations are fantastic. The rooms and bed are comfy. The bathroom is stylish and they provide you with good toiletry freebies. The staff is nice and friendly, and it's conveniently located near Harey Carey's and the Chicago River. Who wouldn't come back?
This is the best sports bar in the area. Newly renovated/located and the ladies bathroom is the best I've ever seen. They have plenty of flat screens and unlike Guide's you can actually hear the game. The staff is friendly and they seem to draw an older crowd. They check ID's at the door so hopefully no underage people will get through. The only complaint is no other forms of entertainment. No pool table, dart boards or electronic games other than poker.
The Signature Lounge located on the 96th floor of the Hancock Tower has by far the best views of the entire city of Chicago. You could not ask for a more relaxing environment. The drink prices are higher but that is obviously expected since the premium is for the view ! If you are visiting Chicago, you must stop here for a drink and appetizer !
The music was good. The bartender was rude for no reason. She was awful, and made a point to glare at us the whole time. We were there for five minutes before sending someone over to inform us if we didn't order a drink (twenty dollar minimum on credit cards) right then there was a cover. Will not be returning due to how rude she was.
This is a great bar to have a bloody mary and a few Old Style's before a Cubs game. It is close enough to Wrigley field while still being far enough away to not have a bunch of frat boys and people from the suburbs around. The bartenders are nice and the drinks are strong, which is a good combo if you ask me.
I've been to Little Joe's several times and the experience is very pleasant. A nice quiet atmosphere with soft lighting and excellent home-made sausage. I was extremely pleased and have been back many times. The are also reasonably priced. Before the meal get the Toasted Ravioli... excellent.
This is a nice spot with a well-rounded crowd and a mellow atmosphere. At the Celebrity, you can get your step on, jam to some old school, and juke to some club bangers, often in the same trip! A nice mix of people with not too many youngsters, but enough to keep it live!
This has to be one of the places you must visit if your from out of town to appreciate Chicago and the great view because there's nothing like it anywhere the food and drinks are good not the best but no one in Chicago can give you the best view of Chicago either.
If you are looking for a generous place to relax and have a few drinks , this is your place! The generosity is amazing in this respectful field ! So come along, have a drink with your neighbors on Racine. So pass this message to a friend and lets all be friends.
