Adult Care of Chester County is a private nonprofit agency offering day care services to adults residing in Chester County, Pa. It offers four programs, of which the Kilpatrick Memorial is designed for adults with physical disabilities and need help with mobility and other activities. It has a program designed for adults in the earlier stage of Alzheimer s disease to provide opportunities for success and improved self-esteem. Its friendship circle program is for adults in the later stages of Alzheimer s disease and other cognitive impairments. The activities in the friendship circle program emphasize on tasks that require less concentration and do not frustrate the participants with memory loss. Adult Care has locations in Exton and Kennett Square, Pa.
