Because of Golden Touch Cleaners I am able to continue to wear my favorite suit. My nephew spilled wine all over it. I was so mad but its not his fault, I should of pushed the wine class back when he cam e to sit on my lap. I guess hind sight is 20/20. I looked up your cleaning service in the phone book and decided to give a shot since I really didn't have anything to lose at this point.I was floored that you were able to get it all out. Thanks a million times.
I have been going here for years. But no more. I paid their prices because I was always happy with their work. I had taken a white dress shirt to be cleaned. When I went to pick up the shirt it had some dark sticky stuff on the sleeve that an employee knew was not there when I dropped it off originally. So she said they would clean it again. When I returned to pick the shirt up for the 2nd time the sticky stuff was half off. The employee just looked at me with a blank face and the new owner told me that there was nothing sticky there at the facility so it was not their fault when the employee that took the shirt in clearly new it was. No offer of refunding my money or to clean it yet again. Just made it worse when she kept insisting it wasn't their problem! Terrible customer service with the new owner. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND SOO CLEANERS AGAIN!!!
Absolutely terrible service. I brought in a white seersucker shirt to be dry cleaned. After getting it back I noticed it had not been cleaned and the shirt had been pressed which ruined the seersucker. I took it back in hoping for a resolution and Maria was so rude and unprofessional. She told me they do not make mistakes. After much back and forth we settled on resending it for dry cleaning. A few days later she calls me to tell me the shirt is back and trys to charge me for it. I told her I would not pay for the dry cleaning since they were fixing their mistake and she hung up on me. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional business ever! Stand behind your work and do right by your customers to keep them. Stay far away from this place and go elsewhere

blair cleaners is a fine example of how black businesses used to be like in the 70"s. Now it stands alone and pround of how the community used to look like. Man I wish we had those days back. groceries stores from JBs to Janns. Barbershops from Emanell,Lewis and Flyods. Stores like JOESPHINE FLOSSEY MUSE AND JOHNSON. BOY I miss those days.

DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESSI brought two pairs of jeans in to be hemmed, both over $200, paid extra for the hem as well as 30% more than the alterations on Lincoln Ave, took time off work to pick them up during store hours and the owner who does alterations did such a poor job on the hem that I can't even wear them. I complained to the employee and she was unhelpful. I spoke to the owner and she denied my complaint and asked me to take time off work again tomorrow to again discuss the issue. I explained I didn't feel I should pay for such a poor job and so she said she would void my credit card for a refund. After my card was voided, the employee then held my clothes (including dry cleaning and my jeans) hostage and would not return them to me. I complained again and the employee was again unhelpful. Spoke to the owner again and she again denied that I should be unsatisfied and again asked me to return another time to discuss rather than sort it out then. I did not nor ever again want to return to this business, so I called the police and filed a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. When the police came, it was clear the employee again was unreasonable and that I could either pay or take the business to small claims court. I was advised to go ahead a pay for the service and dispute the costs, because it was clear the employee nor the owner had any understanding of customer service nor that I should trust my belongings with them any longer. THIS BUSINESS HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN CHICAGO. The alterations are POORLY DONE and the cost of all services is MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE THEN OTHERS Within a 3-4 block radius (I have used all of them and only tried this for the first time as I moved and this was the closest that does alterations). I am a strong supporter of small business, so I tried their dry cleaning service while also trying one even closer to my house, that is organic and less expensive, but a chain.
So after waiting for an hour and 30 mins just to get into the store for its Grand Opening just to find out that the store was out of stock on certain items not good for a store that just opened also not to mention when I talk to a supervisor I was advised that there was nothing they could do and sorry. Well just gose to show the customer service provided not even a courtesy discount or a gift card to compensate for the long time waiting in a huge line. Unfortunately I wI'll not be going back to that store. Not like La Grange where they are willing to help in any way to satisfy the customer.. just a heads up...
I brought my wedding dress here for a professional cleaning about a year ago and it has been hanging in my closet under a protective cover ever since. I took it out on a whim to look at it the other day to find that a metal clasp on the strap and been snapped in half and the strap pinned to the dress. It was never mentioned, which is sneaky, and they refused to repair it stating they were not responsible for damages. The repair would have been quick and inexpensive for them to make and they didn't. These are people without integrity. If they don't have compassion for a damaged wedding dress, I don't expect they will care much about anything your planning to take into them.
I brought a red coat there to be cleaned. It wasn't even dirty but I was putting it away for the winter and had worn it twice. After I picked it up, I discovered that most edges of the coat were frayed beyond repair including the area around the zipper and there was a large grease looking spot on the sleeve. I brought it back but the owner (I assume owner, male, oriental) kept saying it was the material. I attempted to explain that there was nothing wrong with the material when I brought the coat in and that something must have happened in their processing. He absolutely wouldn't listen to me, walked away and refused to give me his name. The person at the desk was a Maria Mendez. This was a perfectly good coat that is now ruined. I would suggest to everyone that they find another cleaner. I know parking is convenient on Clayborne but it is not worth losing clothes for, especially a favorite and not replaceable spring coat.
