I have been working with Franko for years and am always pleased with his work. I can always depend on him to create a unique and personal carving for our events. He is timely and arrives with a smile on his face every time. Not only does Franko create beautiful, one of a kind ice carvings, but he himself is one of a kind! It is rare to be able to work with someone who is so devoted to his craft and is as enjoyable as Franko. I highly recommend Franko to anyone who needs an ice carving.
Let me preface this by saying that I don't even like hamburgers. If we have to stop at a hamburger place I always pick the chicken option. EXCEPT HERE. I had dinner here yesterday and was reminded again about why this place is so darn good. I got the 78704 burger which is on a delicious slightly…

Franko had came highly recommended, and he did not dissappoint. Before he had even began work on our idea, he was already discussing variations, different ideas-and what he brought to us the day of the fundraiser was far beyond our expectations. People gathered by it even as he set up up, and throughout the night. We didn't even want to take it down! I think it goes without saying that Franko will be our iceman from now on, and the only one we'll recommend.
The most photographed item at our fundraising event was the ice sculpture by Franko. The next day on Facebook over 50 pictures of the ice sculpture of the AIPF logo were everywhere. That was way cool and you couldn't ask for a better bang if you're using an ice sculpture for advertising! I sure wish we would have added the luge Franko suggested.
I went with my friend to a Halloween party at her mom’s retirement home in the Arboretum. When we walked in I saw this really cool ice sculpture of a pumpkin with a B and “boo” in the design. I loved it! They told me Franko the Ice Man had carved it, so I looked him up on his facebook page next day because I want an ice sculpture for a party in December. When I called him he said he was on another line and could I please call back, but to go ahead and look at his website. I looked and called him back later. We talked and I told him what I want. He was very courteous and helpful to me, and has put my order on his calendar. I'm really excited to see Franko's ice sculpture at my party!
Franko did an awesome job on the ice sculpture he created for my SXSWi event. It was a complete hit! People took pictures by it all night long. The pictures kept popping up on social media sites. The next day, my logo was all over Facebook! I will definitely call on Franko the next time I host a fun business or networking event.
Wow I was really excited to collaborate with Franco on a sculpture piece for my parents 50th Anniversary. I called him on what I wanted and he have me a quote of $280 including tx and delivery. He told me to get back with him fast because his calendar was already getting full. I called him back with less than 5 minutes to ask for a picture via email to just have a general idea of what it would look like and before I could give him my request he was yelling at me about a contract? I told him " Franco I think you have the wrong client?" I said I called about the 50th anniversary and he replies" oh I thought u were Home Depot" and laughs. As I requested for a picture, he told me that he had to add tax and the price would go up? He then raised his voice and said obnoxiously " Oh you don't try me you don't look at my website" At first I thought the was joking around but then he became more aggressive in his voice that I didn't trust his web page? Ha this dude is a little too proud of his work but need to learn the basics of customer service.
Frankos got the best ice suptures. Ive used him several times and his talent and professionalism amazes me. His prices are geat too but the fact of the matter is he was able to pull off what the other guys in town said couldnt be done...
Let me preface this by saying that I don't even like hamburgers. If we have to stop at a hamburger place I always pick the chicken option. EXCEPT HERE. I had dinner here yesterday and was reminded again about why this place is so darn good. I got the 78704 burger which is on a delicious slightly sweet bun with chipotle mayo, grilled onions, jalepenos, avacado, and Monterrey Jack cheese. The hamburger patty itself holds immense flavor. The burgers come with a mix of sweet potato and regular french fries. They complement the burger perfectly, but are awesome on their own as a snack. The location is great. It's connected to Amy's Ice Cream, there's lots of outdoor seating and a playground for kids. I could see parking being problematic when it's really busy, but it hasn't ever been for me. The building is a refurbished post office and gas station and looks really cool. There's an old fashioned photo booth inside- not sure if it's functioning or not, but it looks awesome. All in all, excellent food, location, and atmosphere.
