10. Bent Noodle
We were driving around looking for a family friendly affordable place to eat and came across the Bent Noddle in Denver. We read some reviews on our …
Fantastic dining experience. Amazing wine and cheese menu. The overall dining experience was very classy. Highly recommend.
All new staff. Slow and unattentive service. Had to ask for water, bread, pepper and cheese. Waitress was also bartender but I counted at least 10 staff. My lamb was overcooked/burned. Cooks may have been newly graduated culinary staff or just inexperiened. Bread was also cold, which we had to ask for as well. Waitress never asked how things are. I have never received this lack of service before.
Tried the Mac grill on alameda for the first and last time! While the service was great I can't say the same for the food. My daughter and I ordered stuff mushrooms, salmon n chicken on a brick. Everything was bland and dripping in grease. It was a very disappointing experience for the price. When we arrived and the lot was half empty we considered going to chilis or BJs, but I thought this location would be as good as others I have tried. Boy was I wrong! Needless to say I'll stick to the locations I have always visited before...
This is the greatest family business in the Southlands area! The food is amazing, I highly recommend the HUGE calzones (my fave, and I never liked calzones before), the pizza is amazing too. Check them out, but give them plenty of time, perfection doesn't come easy...or fast! If you order ahead, and they say 20 mins, give them 30 and prepare to enjoy!
I'm new to the area. So I needed to find "my Italian restaurant". I think we did. The atmosphere was casual, the price affordable. The server, the owner's daughter was a spitfire. My wife and I had a lot of fun. This is all nice, of course, but the bottom line is the food. Normally I don't like heavy pasta, but I frequently get a "Jones" for lasagna. Their's was wonderful. The sausage spiced perfectly. My wife's dish was angel hair with white clam sauce. The sausce was a beautiful blend of garlic and white wine. There are fancier restaurant's than Armando's, I'm sure. I'm also sure the price tag matches "the atmosphere". I bet the food is no better. For great food in a relaxed atmosphere, Armando's is the place
