Established in 1974, Agape of Appleton is a nonprofit organization that offers individualized opportunities to promote the independence of individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs. It works to provides residential support services for individuals in a variety of community settings. Agape of Appleton provides person-centered support services to maintain individual health and safety. It also offers training and assistance to enhance individual ability to reach and maintain maximum potentials. The organization supports children and adults with various developmental needs that include mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and traumatic brain injury. In addition, Agape of Appleton offers leisure time and community activities, medications, and nutrition, transportation and personal care services.
