We recently purchased a Lincoln MKX from Drivers Select and I feel compelled to commend you on your sales staff and in particular Steven Gayle. I had visited several dealerships without my husband and was discouraged from buying from any of them due to their hard sell technique and aggressive sales staff. My husband had heard your advertising on The Ticket radio station so we went to your site and we found the perfect vehicle for me. We came to your facility to view and test drive, we were warmly greeted by Steven and we told him exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately that particular vehicle was not yet ready and available so Steven offered another MKX for us to test drive. The test drive confirmed that we did indeed want to purchase the unavailable MKX and we had told Steven that our intention was to purchase that day but not once did he try to re-direct us to a different vehicle in order to make the sale on that day, instead he explained your "Recon" process and offered to monitor the vehicle and advise us immediately upon it's release. Before meeting Steven we had decided that if that vehicle was not available we were moving on the the Lincoln dealership where we had found another MKX in our price range available immediately but after working with Steven and directly due to his courteous manner and soft sell style, we were so impressed that we lost all interest in visiting another dealership. When we went in to pick up the vehicle Steven again impressed us, he had another vendor arrive while we were waiting for paperwork to be completed and he insisted on remaining with us rather than leaving us alone to go and attend to the other prospective buyer. He also followed up with my husband to see how I was enjoying the vehicle a few days after we had driven off your lot. In closing, I must say that Steven was directly responsible for our sale and we will at any given opportunity, highly recommend DriversSelect.com and particularly Steven as a salesman. Looking for a car is both exciting & exhausting. I had been to almost every dealership within a 20 mile radius, literally & after my search I could not find even one car that I would possibly go back to. Not that I’m that picky, but you have to be when it comes to a car, & depending on the price, mileage, & interest rate. I mean your going to be stuck with it so it better be worth it right? Well I had seen the Driver Select commercials advertising all the time, & that tune was always stuck in my head “Driver Select is there for me, there for me, there for me….” So I figured I’d go online, & do a littler research before I took the drive out there. I went online which was so easy to navigate & actually searched the vehicles that they had in stock at their location, which included the mileage, price, & pictures of inside, & outside of the vehicles. I don’t have a lot of time since I work so much so with that capability to just get online & search, & narrow down the types of cars I was interested in was so helpful. I also was able to fill out a credit application & not too long after that, I received a call back from a customer service representative that was able to assist me & answer all my questions. When I arrived at the Dealership, everyone was absolutely wonderful. You weren’t just a sale or commission to them. T hey did strive to do whatever they could to get me approved & drive off with what I wanted. To top it off, the sticker price of the vehicle I was purchasing was amazing about $5-$7000 cheaper, than other dealers in the area. Now tell me is that a great deal or what! So Thank you Mike Hungaski & Rosie Hernandez & everyone else who assisted in helping me get a great car. I will definitely be doing business with Driver Select, for all future vehicle purchases.
I bought a 2008 KIA Spectra SX from Southwest KIA on 7/1/08 and I love this car. I live an hour and half east of Dallas so I called Southwest KIA the weekend before I bought my car to speak to a salesman and ask any questions I had without having to make the long drive. At this point I still wasn’t sure that a KIA was what I wanted. I had it narrowed down to the KIA Spectra, Toyota Corolla, Chevy Cobalt, or Mazda 3. I commute three hours a day for work and I needed a car with really good gas mileage, but affordable enough that I didn’t mind racking up the miles on it. I was leery of the KIA in the beginning of my search for a car because of all the negative information I had heard years ago when they first came out. After a lot of research I’ve learned that KIA has come a long way with the quality and dependability of their cars. After talking to Garry several times, I agreed to come test drive the car. He assured me that if I would just give the car a chance that it would not be a difficult decision to make and he was right. I only went that day to test drive a car and I came home with my brand new KIA. I got the fully loaded SX for less than what I would have paid for the pretty basic Toyota Corolla. Garry was absolutely great and I would buy from him again in a heartbeat!! He’s very friendly, he was able to answer all of my questions, he was very patient and not pushy like other salesman I spoke with at other dealerships, and he even stayed two hours late that day to answer even more questions before I finally agreed to the purchase.
