I've been to this nail salon a couple of times but yesterday was my last. Went in about 5ish wasn't greeted at all. Signed in and sat down a lady walks in a couple minutes after me she's not greeted she signs in and sits down. Someone comes up about 5 minutes later instead checking the sign in sheet she attends to the lady who came in after me. When Mimi ask me about the services I need I pick out a color. When I come back I assume that she was doing my nails because I wasn't told otherwise. So I grab a color and sit in her chair. She gives this dumb look and never says anything but instead I guess gets the attention of the lady she wants to do my nails. She not once opened her mouth to inform me of what was going on the other lady comes over and informs me that I can have a seat at her station. Once I'm at her station she is taking in her native language to her coworkers after she removes the polish from my nails she just gets up and walk away she doesn't excuse herself or anything she just left come to find out she fetched a gel polish for her coworker and his client. Not once did she apologize for abruptly stopping my service to tend to something else. Over all her results were sloppy the customer service and communication sucked and by far is thee worst. They will never ever get my money again

I have been coming to top nails for years now but I will never be coming back to this place they lucky I left as politely as I did. I came and got my nails done on a Thursday for a wedding n by saturday night during the reception dinner my first nail popped off. I was out of town so when I got back on Monday I came straight here to let Nancy know n get my nails done for free of course or get my money back n by now I have 1 nail per hand lookin crazy. Nancy says I should have came the day or day after that it came off I told her I was out of town n I could not have done that she brushed me off saying they couldn't redo my nails n if they did it would b a 5 dollar discount smh. FUCK NANCY!!!!! I WILL NOT BE GOIN BACK AND IF YOUR READING THIS DONT GO TO TOP NAILS ON LIBERTY RD.
I bought my daughter to this salon on 9/20/15. It was my daughter's birthday so I wanted to treat her to a manicure. When we arrived Nancy who sits at the front station was extremely rude. She rushed my service the entire time and when it was time to dry my nails, she didn't even look at me. She texted on her phone and said go dry your nails. This was my first time here, I did not even know where to go and my nails were wet and I had to take my own purse. I get to the back no nail dryers are turned on and my nails are wet. I come BACK up front to tell Miss Nancy and she says so what you go turn it on yourself. So I sat at the front and blew on my nails to dry myself. My 10 year old daughter was with me and we are grieving the tragic loss of my husband so I couldn't embarrass my daughter but I'm telling you what a horrible exprience. Both our nails were horrible as well. Who is the owner of this place!
I'VE BEEN COMING HERE FOR 8 YEARS.....I'M NEVER COMING BACK TO TOP NAILS ON LIBERTY ROAD! THE MANAGER UP FRONT IS DISRESPECTFUL, RUDE, AND IGNORANT. SHE IS VERY AGGRESSIVE WITH THE CUSTOMERS! Very poor customer service. I received acrylic fill ins and gel polish. The polish chipped before the day was over. I returned the next day at opening. I asked to have the nail fixed. I was talked "at" by someone in the back of the establishment who asked what I needed. I told him and he asked who did the service in which I told him. He said "she not here come back later!" I told him o didn't have time to come back and didn't mind who fixed the nail. He told me that if he or anyone else fixed the nail that he would charge me. He kept saying come back later as if he didn't want to address the poor job that was done. I am really big on customer service when I'm paying for a service. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. I told him that that kind of customer service does not keep customers and he said "so"! Ridiculous!
Let me start by saying I've been going to Top Nails for years and I usely love the costumer service as well as the job done but today i experienced poor costumer service and rodents ! I could not believe this there is no way I can enjoy some time off and relaxation with rodents running around and instead of explaining this is a problem that they are aware of and will handle they insist on saying they have never seen them and the costumers were exaggerating I wouldn't reccommend anyone going there and that is my honest opinion
I paid $30 for a gel manicure worst paint job I've ever had. My cuticles looked like they still needed to be done because the nail tech said only take a little off at a time or else it wouldn't be beautiful. The inside of the salon is very nice I wouldn't go & waste my money again.
I'm a loyal customer to this place. I go there just about every two weeks and, the service and the quality of work gets worse every time. Whomever the lady Nacy is I'm not sure if she's the Owner or manger however her attitude Is so nasty and poor. I got my nails done by my usual nail Tech,on Wednesday before 4th of July weekend. The very next day that Thursday I had multiple nails that were messed up the paint and gel had come off and my real nails were chiped from the Gel coming off. I always get my real nails done with just an overlay, this was not the first time my nails have messed up the day after they were Done I've gone back to this place to have them fixed multiple times I should have stopped going but the tech I see is really nice. Anyway I went back same day that my nails messed up however they were closing. I was told could not do anything but I could come back the next day. I explained that I was just there the day before and I was leaving out of town that night and I would not be back until that Sunday. The Owner or manger Nacy told me ok that's fine come back then and we fix it. Oh and she never looked me in the fac, nor did she look at my nails. I came back on This Tuesday, I was greeted by Nacy with an immediate attitude. Which showed me she remembered me from Thursday after she cut me off when I was explaining why I was there, she asked to see my nails then I was told there is nothing much wrong with my nails and they are old she then proceeded to tell me that she would paint over the chipped nail but would not repair it, if I want my chipped nails repaired I would have to pay because they are old and I only had one nail messed up when I came in the next day. Frustrated I told her I came the next day you said you were closed and could do nothing amd this was not even a week so how could my nails be old secondly, you never looked at me or my nails so how could you possibly tell me how many nails were messed up and my would I pay you for a service I've already paid for and I'm not happy with. She rudely told me you can't come when we are closed and want to be seen and you should have come the next day your nails are old now, I'm totally disgusted because she told me I could come back after explaining that I would be out of town. She was very rude rolled her eyes and nasty. If you want, poor service and bad quality work that you will constantly have to have fixed then feel free. Oh not to mention the Tech I see does not take appointments so I always have to take my chances on a walk in and I never have her undivided attention and time she will do other things while doing my nails and have others to finish her work while she helps someone else. How fair is that if I'm a repeat client only to you. I will never go back to such a poorly ran business. If your looking for good quality work and service this is not the place. The only reason I'm giving one star is because it makes you.
THE WORST PLACE EVER!!! I went into the salon on Tuesday. By Thursday my nails had peeled so badly from the cheap polish-I decided to go back to ask if they would could correct the problem and repolish my nails. To my amazement Mimi said I would have to pay. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!!GIVE THEM MONEY-REALLY! That shop is the epitome of bad customer service. She had the audacity to ask me if I thought she was crazy. NO I think you are stupid, you must think I am crazy. As stated below there are Too Many Nails Salons to Put Up With Bad Customer Service. They don't respect their clients. Folks, let's put Mimi out of business. DON'T patronize a business that takes your money and don't respect you.
