This nail salon is under new ownership. The service is excellent and the prices are good. The staff is very nice and do not gossip with each other while working on your nails.

I went in the early after noon. The place was completely empty except for a woman laying down on the couch under a blanket. She did not greet me well at all and it took me a minute to figure out she is the woman I had an appointment with. I scheduled gel polish for a wedding. Unfortunately my nail person was away on vacation. The color did not match the nail sample at all and the color was horrible!! She rushed through the process ruined my nails with filing and could see through the polish!!! I take very good care of my nails which was ruined in 20 minutes!! I definitely do not recommend this place. She takes no pride in her work!!
I usually go to perfect nails in cowesett plaza, however I was in desperate need of a manicure and they were right down the road and open on a Sunday. I got a manicure and a pedicure the pedicure was so quick and careless it was not worth the 30 dollars and while I waited they FILED my gel nail polish off my nails instead of soaking and scrapping. While she was removing the cuticle around my thumb nail she took a big chunk of skin off and gave me a killer hangnail on the bed of my nail, that bled forever and then scabbed up and didnt look good with my extremely light color I picked. Then she proceeds to put two coats on when I asked for three because the pink I picked was very light, instead of just saying okay she argued that I didnt need three coats. By the time I walked out my nails were so thin both of my thumb nails cracked I couldnt even wash my hair without them bending because they filed the gel off my nails. It was a very unprofessional experience and I will never go back.
This place used to be nice, and now it's going downhill under new management. They're offering 20% off for all services, but what most people don't know is that the price has been jacked up. Also, if you call and ask for Vickie, they'll tell you that she's either on vacation or she had gone back to Connecticut. None of that is true. In some cases, they'll even book you in under her name and once you arrive, they'll say she's taking the day off. I had that happened to me and I was not happy once I found out the truth. I know it's business and they don't want to lose clients, but giving someone else a bad reputation is despicable! Vickie is now working at 2928 Post Road in Warwick. She is not on vacation nor did she go back to CT. Her number is 401-287-4547 if anyone would like to set up appointments with her.
New owners... Who can't even understand English! So unsanitized and dirty!Nails came out horrible, took Hour and half for full set shellac $43 dollars! Never again!! Getting them redone somewhere that are professional!!
Terrible service. None of their manicurists have proper license to operate. Also, the new owners kicked out the original people and told all their clients that they have gone back to CT. That is not true, in fact, one of the girls told me she was definitely settling down in RI. Private message me if you'd like to know where they are working right now.
I used to go to Magic Nails. However, lately I feel they are going down hill. A few of the staff seem negative and down in the dumps like they do not want to be there. I would go in knowing exactly what I wanted done and always ended up getting the spew regarding different options. I would then repeat my desires and they would always go ahead and do what they wanted. The last straw was when one girl literally ripped the nails off that I had had put on the week before. I was going in for a fill she decided to pull of the entire set. I told them I just wanted a fill and was only paying for a fill not a whole new set. She looked very disappointed when she did not get a tip. I think not. That was the last straw. On top of it the nails began o lift two days later. I now go to PERFECT NAILS down the street. Better pricing, better staff, willing to work with you, and much better quality.
