I called a number of times no one answer the phone during their business hours. I also left an numerous of emails on their website no answer again. I guess I will have to give up!
HORRIBLE SERVICE... I visited your store on Oct 9,2015, with my daughter. We walked in and there were 4 women all behind the counter talking, they all looked at us and then back to their conversation never acknowledging us. This I feel was completely unprofessional. I have frequented your store on a few occasions and have always been treated respectfully, that is why I returned. But unfortunately after this experience I will never again. I will never recommend David's Bridal to anyone!!
My best friend and i walked into this store and a very rude and obviously interrupted reading her magazine at 1 in the afternoon blonde woman looks up and asks how she can help us. i begin by telling her how excited i was to be getting married and my friend and i would like to take a look at some of the dresses she had to offer. she told me that her dress were consignment and she did not want me or my friend touching them. when i told her i wasnt interested in trying any on that day and i was just hoping to look around at some styles she then told me that i had better go to davids bridal and to please leave. I felt very insulted by her assessment of who she felt i was and i believe that anyone who could bring a blushing bride down from her happiness and excitement by refusing to hep her should not be in the business she is in. i would NEVER recommend someone to go to gown town. the only reason they are getting a single star is because it requires one to leave a comment.
I cannot speak highly enough of The Bridal Shoppe. I came shopping here for my wedding dress due to their wonderful reviews, and they did not disappoint. After showing them my inspiration they found me the most perfect dress, well within my budget, and had it custom made for me with changes to the bodice that I requested. The ladies are so sweet and genuine and give you their full attention - I believe that they truly do care about their brides. They also do everything they can to make sure your dress fits perfectly. I had several appointments for alterations, because they wanted it to look flawless. Though I was nervous about always "pulling up" a strapless dress, they made sure it fit like a glove and I did not need to adjust the dress ONCE on my wedding day. I would recommend The Bridal Shoppe to anyone :) They're the best.
Service by the young woman helping me was amazing, she was kind, witty, and seemed to know exactly what I liked. However, the selection is VERY limited. I've been looking at gowns for several years and some of the dresses were outdated and from 2010. In bridal, that is a long time ago. This store is considered a " premier retailer" of Maggie Sottero gowns, yet she had very few Maggie gowns to show me. Lastly, when I called to make an appointment, the owner told me " we might have it" and they didn't . She said " oh well, I ordered it and I don't know when it might come in, I dont control these things, it is what it is"in an not so sweet attitude. The dress is from Spring 2012, if you don't have it you will never have it. I ended up calling another bridal salon in a panic, and they took me immediately and found my dress in less than 30 minutes. Beth, my bridal consultant gets 5 stars, Donna and the Bridal Shoppe only get 2! Donna lacks compassion ( I think she thought I was just playing dress up because I was by myself) and has maybe less than 30 dresses in her shop!
This place is amazing. The people are friendly and Donna knew exactly the look I was going for when it came to my dress. She even made suggestions on how to alter it to make it my own. The big commercial bridal shops could never offer the kind of personalized experience that you will get from this shop. She completely read my mind. I just purchased the dress today and look forward to going back for the fittings in the future. I would definitely recommend this shop to every bride!
I just had a bad experience. I enjoyed the girl that greated us but she passed me on to a sales person who looked less than excited.I told her I was looking for a lace halter dress..she then proceeded to tell me " that is a last years style and they probably wouldn't have it." She tried to get me into shiny dresses that looked cheap even though I had said I didn't anything formal. I am 46 and wanted to look attractive not tacky. She then explained to me she had a halter dress from clearance and it need to be cleaned because of the make-up on it. I passed. I can't say that I recommend the place.
Unless you are planning on spending thousands of dollars on a dress they do not treat you well. My daughter made an appointment and when we got there the store was filled with other brides to be. There was no one to help us and after waiting over a half hour we were finally brought to the corner of the store where they kept the vaccuum. My other daughter was 6 months pregnant and never offered a seat. The girl asked if we knew what we wanted to look at? We had a list she circled the first three and said that was all we could try on. There was only four. Really you cannot look for the fourth one? We waited for a dressing room for another 15 minutes. The room had tags and a dress in it. The girl did not come back to help fit the dresses seeing my daughter is a size 2 and the dresses the girl brought out were from sizes 6-14. My thoughts are to stay away from this store. They are a hit or miss store when it comes to customer service. And when you ask to speak to the manager they tell you to wait a minute and they will go get her, then come back and say she must have went home for the night. Then when you are finally ready to leave the manager was the one to say have a good night. If there was a negative star to give this company that would be what they would get.
