Heidelberg German Shepherds

I disagree with all of this negative! We ABSOLUTELY love our Heidelberg puppy! She is a great dog and she is such a sweetheart. She is so loving and gentle. Just last week I took her to my daughters Special Education class (she is one of the teachers for 10 or 12 handicapped children). She wanted me to bring in my dog, Steffi, for "show and tell" before the school year was over. The hour that we spent there was magical, honestly. Steffi loved these special children and licked their faces and let them walk her! Her nature towards these children was gentle and sweet, and the love was reciprocal! Thanks for giving us a great dog! We absolutely love her!

Stay away from these people. We have bought several Shepherds from them, ALL had problems. The male we bought had siexures, hip problems, spine problems, and cancer. The female we bought from them, they lied about her age, she had terrible hips, and spine problems. We bread our female with one of their studs, I kept a puppy. She was the smartest dog, protective,beautiful, energetic, and healthy until she turned 8. At 8 she started showing signs of hip and spine problems. I took her to many vets who all confirmed the same problems, and it was PURELY genetic. I called Heidelberg to explain to them the situation, and the person who answered the phone said "Bring your dog in, and we will give you a puppy, thats all we can do" Who would give their dog up like that?? Ive been told not to buy puppies from puppy mills, but these people take the cake. They are all smiles until something is wrong with your dog, which is VERY common. none of our dogs lived past 10, they ALL had problems. Go ask vets around town, the will tell you in a heart beat not to buy from them. Ask K9 breeders for police, any reputable police dog, will not come from this place. I hate to be so negative, but these are the facts! I dont want others to go through what I did with my beloved dog. I carried her in and out of the house for almost a year, she had a wheelchair, she would defaecate on herself because she could not get up.

I have 3 puppies from this breeder and I will never buy a German Shepherd anywhere else. The dogs are healthy, beautiful and very loving and sweet. They are all a German Shepherd should be. They are always available to you before and after you bring your puppy home. The entire buying experience was wonderful!

This place is a gem! Not only are they passionate about German Shepherds, they are also passionate about the health and wellness of their litters. The dogs are all so beautiful and healthy. I am convinced that this is by far the best breeder around. I am so glad I went here to purchase the newest addition to our family! Everyone is well educated and they care more about the puppies than making money. I strongly recommend Heidelberg German Shepherd to anyone looking for an amazing, healthy German Shepherd!
