Being disabled, I always request a phone interview, got an appt and waited for them to call me all day, called them, they stated they had me as a no show, made second appt, again waited all day , no one called me, again I was a no show on their records...and was told my benefits would be delayed since I didn't keep my appt (NO ONE CALLED) was told my case worker was at this office, so I had a friend drive me there, when I stood in line for more than 45 minutes I finally got to the front and asked for my case worker (by name) was told my case worker wasn't at this office, after being persistent about wanting to speak to a supervisor, I was told there was no supervisor available, at this time I became really upset, the receptionist picks up the phone and talks with someone and has the nerve to say, that I am upset because I didn't keep my appt and my benefits may be delayed, I raised my voice and said "NO NOONE CALLED ME", so now a lady from the the back asked if she could help me, said she was a supervisor, I said no your not your receptionist just told me no supervisor was available...I asked for a complaint number and was told they didn't have one....of course I'm not an idiot, I found the number and called, but at this time I received a call (2 hrs) after leaving this office from my case worker (she is in (Corpus Cristi) and stated that my benefits were approved and will be in by the afternoon....for future reference...I know that the receptionist in this office was an incompetent individual that has no business being there, the system is failing and workers don't care anymore about the clients....I ask for a telephone interview for a reason....I AM DISABLED, and if I wasn't I would be more than happy to take over her job...
