Blackstock Radiator

Took my classic car radiator here to have it cleaned/rodded. After 3 weeks of excuses as to why they hadn't worked on it, they told me my core was bad and I needed a new one(which is the most expensive repair you can do to a radiator, $300-$500). They kept telling me they were going to call me back with an exact price but after several days never called. I got fed up and went to pick it up. They had done absolutely nothing to it. It was laying in their shop with tools on it. They had not removed the top tank(which is what must be done to truly tell if a core is bad when there are no obvious leaks). I took the radiator home and ran some water through it to make sure they hadn't poked any holes in it. When I did, old pea green antifreeze and rust came out of the bottom opening meaning they hadn't even tested it OR cleaned it! Ridiculous! 3 weeks of excuses AND they lied to me about working on it AND tried to get hundreds of dollars out of me! I'll never be back and I suggest you don't go here either!

I took my radiator across town to Hayes and they had it done in a day and a half with NO PROBLEMS! There was nothing wrong with my core! Blackstock flat out lied to me!
