I had a hard time finding the right engagement ring. Then I happened to stop by the diamond company. They had what I was looking for. But, I had to have it resized. So, Michelle told me it would be a week from 2/14, that would mean it would be back by 2/21. But, when she wrote it up she “promised” it by 2/26. However, on 2/28 I called to find out the status. She told me I might have it by 3/2. So I reminded her that she promised it would be done by 2/26. And, that if she can’t guarantee the date, she shouldn’t make the promise. So, she said I was being rude. Where I come from, breaking a promise is rude. But, Michelle is a self entitled millennial who can’t take responsibility for her mistake. The Diamond Company has lost this customer. I certainly don’t need some millennial reprimanding me for expecting her to keep her promise.
