Tower Behavioral Health

You can't believe anything they say. My daughter went there voluntarily and we were told she could leave whenever we wanted. Then the doctor who was "Treating" her told us that she could keep my child there even if we no longer wanted her to remain there. I learned after that this was false and a ploy to get to 10 days. She kept trying to force more days on us then we could afford. A few days later, we pushed to get our child and 1st were told that noone is there on the weekend and we would need to wait until Monday. After my explaining that I can't wait until the weekend, all of a sudden someone could be there on the weekend to discharge her. She just kept trying to get more days out of us. I now told this doctor that it was going to be the next day which was Friday and there was no longer any negotiation. I'm out of work and can't afford any of this. When we went to pick her up, the lady that sat with me and reviewed the bill told me if I paid in full TODAY, I would get a 15% discount so I bit the bullet and paid in full so I would be done with this place. Guess what? Now I've been fighting with them because now they are trying to squeeze more money out of me. The new story is that my portion of the bill is 20% and I was misinformed about being paid in full. This place is the worst that I have ever dealt with in my life. Too many lies and its all about money. It's just one big money grab. My recommendation is if Tower Behavioral Health is mentioned to you, RUN!!!!!! Go to Kidspeace, they aren't as bad as Tower Behavioral Health which is pretty bad!!
