The concept of this place is awesome with the art and t-shirts and seems to be working, but I have to say I was looking at their collection online on a day I had some spare time obviously and just went pages and pages back. I found like a total of 3 shirts that I liked, which none were available because they were all older styles.
I have always liked random t-shirts with random sayings or pictures on them, not "oh that's ironic" ..but more so sayings or pictures that pertain to my life someway. Music, records..etc.
I bought a shirt yesterday which I am sure I will see like 10 other people wearing in the neighborhood because it was in the window and they are having the 9 dollar sale.
The one I bought I really liked and even wore it to Smartbar last night. It is only the 2ND shirt that I've ever bought there. The first one I gave to my friend since it was an impulse buy and I never wore it.
The women's shirts were printed American Apparel. The medium fit me to a perfect Tee.
Then they changed brands of their tees and I thought that the new fit sucked. Until I realized that I'm really a small with the new manufacturer. Yay! Gotta give them props for catering to my vanity of wanting to be the skinniest person in the room.
PS - thanks for bringing back the nerdy Darth Vader tee. I can now go to the comix book store with my head held up high.
I have been a huge fan of funny shirts for a while now, because after my Abercrombie & Fitch phase, I realized I no longer wanted to be a walking billboard for an overpriced, cookie-cutter-preppy clothing company that doesn't even use Asian American models because we don't fit their "standard of beauty." WTF is that crap, seriously?
So anyway, they stepped up to the plate and filled my t-shirt void perfectly. Cute shirts, artistic shirts, random shirts, anything you're in the mood for really - you'll probably find it. When I heard that there was an *actual* store, I just had to visit. They didn't actually have that many shirts inside, which was slightly disappointing, but it was nice to be able to see what some of the shirts looked like in person before actually buying them. I found a super cute dinosaur t-shirt that is now in my current rotation of spring t-shirts.
Advice: sign up for emails and be on the look-out when they have sales... $5-10 for unique t-shirts? Brilliant!
It's nice seeing the store because sometimes depending on the design of the shirt is how the shirt will run size wise. It really isn't a standard size thing all the time, and on their site shipping back and fourth for exchanges and all of that is free, so it's not a big hassle, but nobody really wants to go through a hassle to begin with.
What I like about this location:
It's quiet, isn't busy during the week in the afternoon, easy access dressing room, easy to find everything as well as a TV with the cheesy picture of the guy/girly models wearing the shirt that's stacked on the shelves below it, chick on staff wasn't intrusive while we were shopping, bi-level, 'last week's tees' are upstairs as well as the hoodies and baby-gear. Oh! Under the bench by the stairs they also have free doggie treats in a secret little fish bowl!
What I wish was different:
MORE! I was hoping when I stopped in yesterday that I'd be finding the new Muppet Collection but was bummed when I saw a bunch of this and that. It is kind of a tight (hip) space for any store, and they manage to make wise use of their space in terms of what they do have in the store, but I wish that their selection extended further upstairs with the shelves the way they're all set up on the base level. Even the selection of baby gear was kind of disappointing.
They split it up easy to find with the infant clothes on the table (shirts and onesies') but there were only about 5 or 6 designs to choose from. It was more of a bummer when you'd look at the kids clothes for toddlers etc. getting a little older and seeing a design you WISH was on the baby table!
Overall though, there's no going wrong with buying and shopping in means immediate gratification, testable size and no shipping fee. Just don't get your hopes TOO high about what they may or may not have in the day you visit.
my experience with this company was passable to say the best I got a payment receipt
email right away and then it took almost week to get the shipping conformation
email the shipping was first class mail so that added an extra couple days till I got
my package. The shirts are alright quality just your generic hanes the sizing on
them was kinda odd so at least they did accept the return package and then
i had to wait again for the new shirts. It did take a while to finally get my shirts
that fitted but in the end after all the delays I did get my products..
!@#$%^&
Took while to get my shirt and email was not responded to in 24 hours but shirt did arrive in good condition and was fair price.
.
Good work and fair prices local turnaround on reunion shirts only took 3 days
Shirts were nice shipping little long but they kept me updated whole time.
Overall a good experience would shop again
