I've been renting from enterprise for years now, and this last vacation experience sealed the deal for my continued use of enterprise rentals. First, I rented a luxury car, and paid top dollar to have a luxury car, I was given a station wagon Volvo. On top of that, the car keep turning off when I came to a stop light or stop sign. I was told it was a new feature, but it's very annoying and clunky when it started up and drove again. Lastly, when I was at the airport getting my car, the guy that rented me the car was rude and didn't take the time to look into finding me another car. I was told to go to other places to see if they had a car to my liking, only to be switched out by a different guy two days later. I drove all over Orlando to multiple dealers that didn't have luxury cars. I am a platinum member and have accumulated lots of points, but I will not rent from enterprise again given my last experience.

I was stranded in Orlando and these guys did a great job of getting me back home that night. All of their staff was helpful and most considerate. I will use them again!

Overall

The logistics and service were smooth, quick, and no problem- car was ready for us at pick-up, clean interior, and the gas tank was full. However, price is too high for the vehicle they assign you, and they want anywhere from $40-$75+ a day to upgrade to a larger vehicle, which your smaller vehicle is parked next to. Example we paid $530 for 9 days for an SUV, and were assigned a Dodge Journey, that's right a little Dodge Journey. Mor eof a crossover than an SUV. They wanted $40 a day to upgrade us to a Traverse or something a little bit bigger, or $75 more a day for the full-sized Ford Expedition. We were very happy with service and ease of transition, but disappointed in the Enterprise rates and 'upsales', and will shop around next time for a better deal with an appropriate sized vehicle.

I am a travel agent. I booked my car for the Orlando Airport location. My rate was to be $166 total. When I returned home, my card was charged $445. I called billing with corporate and they said they couldn't help me to call Orlando. I called after an hour and multiple tries and was told my card would be refunded. Three weeks late and no refund! And of course I can't reach Orlando.

I've always enjoyed renting a car from Enterprise at MCO! They are always fast and courteous. I missed seeing the check in desk inside the airport and went straight to the garage figuring that the check in was all in one spot. The lady working the desk told me it was no problem and that I did not have to go back into the airport. She would handle everything right there. I didn't mind going back inside to handle it but it was nice of her to do that. The young lady showing us the cars we could choose from sat in the car we had chosen to take the mileage and immediately told us it had a heavy smoke smell. She offered to take to another car without hesitation. Bringing the car back was a breeze. It took less than 5 minutes and we were on our way to the terminal. A big Thank You to the staff at the MCO Enterprise!

Fast and Friendly! We arrived at MCO at 4pm and I thought it was going to be chaos. However, I was wrong! They were easy to locate and no line. It took less then 10 minutes to make my payment and get the rental which was clean, drove great and was washed with a full tank. Returning it was even faster with no hassle what so ever. Let's not forget that the prices are great!!

I am a customer with enterprise for about 5years or more. Every time I visit Orlando I NEVER encounter any problems. When I get to the counter I have never wait for more than 10 min. This time I visit on 6/26/15 it was faster because I was able to use the self check machine. When I approach to pick up my car I was treat nicely and was on my way in 10min. I don't choose any other rental car

Companies because of the value of enterprise and the customer service I receive.

After a few hours of driving following the pick-up of my rental car at MCO, my companion and I stopped to pick up some items in Crystal River, FL. Upon returning to our car (which only had 9K miles on it), we couldn't get the key fob to work (laptop and all other possessions trapped in trunk car on a nearly 100 degree day). When I tried calling the Enterprise office in MCO, I couldn't get an answer or talk to a real person. I finally reached the nearby Enterprise office in Crystal River, FL and was treated poorly and as if they had nothing to do with the Enterprise corporation whatsoever. I and ended up having a three-hour long fiasco involving getting stuck in a thunderstorm, getting picked up and dropped off twice by the people in Crystal River because none of us could get the key fob open to replace the battery after my insistence that they resolve this instead of me having to call roadside assistance. On top of that, dealing with a rude manager at the Crystal River location and paying for a new key fob battery that ended up being the wrong voltage because the guy in Crystal River wasn't paying attention was a fun way to start a vacation. Ultimately, it wasn't the end of the world and thankfully, I was only on vacation and not headed to any sort of important meeting, but it seemed pretty unfortunate that the wrong battery had been in the fob the whole time, apparently. However, upon returning my car to MCO, the manager (Brandon, I believe) was extremely apologetic and discounted my rental as compensation for our troubles. He also explained that the cars come from a variety of sources and that while they do thorough inspections, the batteries on key fobs aren't necessarily checked unless they don't work. So, yes, I would rent a car from the Enterprise office at MCO, but never Crystal River!

I had a great visit to Orlando and the Chevy Equinox I was provided by Enterprise (I reserved a full size sedan) contributed to my enjoyment. I was happy to get the small SUV with tinted windows during an especially hot week. The only problem with the vehicle was that the Miles to Empty stopped showing you how many miles you actually had to empty after it got to 40 (no matter how often you hit reset) - and I think it wasn't calibrated correctly because I should have had 20 miles left to go, but I ran out of gas right as I got to rental return (glad I got that fuel option).

Btw, I agree with Brian G's concern in the earlier review - Why have both sets of vehicle keys connected by a braided cable loop? If one set is lost both are. What's the point of having an extra set if you can't separate them? And they are much more inconvenient to carry around. This is 2015 - they need to have an alternative to this by now. Get more Fords with the keyless entry pads.

I rent the new Corvette C7's from this enterpriSe once a month as I am a local here in Orlando and they are amazing! Every time it gets better! I walk up, the lady is always sweet, they give me my company discount and it literally takes 4 minutes and I am off to choose my corvette. Friendly, fast, and best customer service of any rental car company in Orlando! Keep it up!

I rented a car for what was to be a one way trip from Orlando to Port Canaveral. We picked up the car and went to an Airport Hotel. The next morning the car wouldn't start. We sat on hold for 35 minutes for road side assistance. They told us they would could not be there any sooner then 45 minutes. We tried to get help from the airport rental facility, but all they would do is dump you back into roadside assistance. We had a memorial service that we had to get to so we had to leave and pay $150 for a cab fee. This is too poor of service and will make sure I invest in Hertz and Avis in the future. They are worth the extra when something goes wrong.

I rented a car to go one-way from Orlando to Washington, D.C. I was happy with the rental car and the process was quick and easy. The price was also pleasing; only $80 for a Hyundai Sonata. The only issue I had was getting to the Enterprise office at the airport. I guess they assume that only people flying in will be renting cars, but I am a local resident who had a hard time getting to the rental office. Unfortunately I will not be using Enterprise for my return trip because the rates have more than tripled. We will be taking the train back to Florida.

Overall my experience was excellent. The only inconvenience was both sets of vehicle keys were connected by a braided cable loop. As a result, I could not give the spare set to anyone else in our party, and if I lost a set I would lose both. What's the point of having an extra set if you can't separate them?

The car I rented had a recent oil change-after a couple of days the oil light came on-when I checked the engine the filler cap had been left off and oil was everywhere. I could not get anyone on the help line or at MCO to answer after 10 minutes on hold-I bought two quarts of oil and replaced cap-returned to airport. Staff there replaced with another car and provided an upgrade and discount for my trouble. Everyone makes mistakes, but Enterprise handled the situation as well as they could-just glad I was not on the interstate when this happened.
