- Dr. Farhad R. Chowdhuryattended the Honors program at Rutgers College, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Arts. He received his medical degree from University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his General Surgery internship and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in affiliation with Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where he was chief resident from 2008 to 2009.He then completed an internationally renowned fellowship in Laryngology and Care of the Professional Voice at the prestigious American Institute for Voice and Ear Research in Philadelphia, PA, in affiliation with Drexel University College of Medicine. He has authored numerous research papers and has presented at national meetings. He has co-authored two textbooks in the field of Otolaryngology and Laryngology, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Drexel University College of Medicine.He is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Chowdhury specializes in treatment of adult and pediatric ear, nose, and throat disorders that includes sinus diseases and complex voice and swallowing disorders.

Provided by Doctor.comThe appointment was for my 6 year old who sustained and injury. Dr Chowdhury was great! He listened, was empathetic and responded in a way that was easy to understand. Our visit left me feeling very confident that my son was in good hands.

Provided by Doctor.comI visited Dr. Chowdhury for a second opinion after my 2 year old son with monthly ear infections was dismissed by a different ENT. The entire staff at ENT Old Bridge was so amazing. The audiologist Ralph (forgot his last name) was so wonderful and patient with my shy, nervous son. The nurse who took us to the room was so kind. And Dr. Chowdhury took his time to listen to my concerns, give me his opinion, explain everything so thoroughly and make sure I was confident in his plans to give my son tubes in his ears. I truly cannot said enough nice things about the whole office and experience. Even the gentleman at the desk was so sweet and gave my son two prizes from the treasure chest. I’m so glad I visited this office and have already told other parents about them.
