The traditional Thai fare actually compares favorably with food in Thailand (ingredients, preparation). The specials, although not always traditionally Thai, are very good. The sushi-grade tuna special is indeed exceptional, and the only Pad Thai I eat in BR comes from here. Beware the sports-bar and Karaoke side businesses that could easily spoil the otherwise good dining experience if you're not into that kind of mainstream entertainment. thai kitchen is the best i've ate since i have been in baton rouge. my wife don't usually like this type food, but always ask to go here. the food is great and the decor is very nice and you will enjoy their good service.
The food is very good and authentic, nice atmosphere, though the services has always been lacking. Plan on spending a lot of time to eat in and consider yourself lucky if they pick up the phone for a take out order.
Authentic Thai cuisine at a terrific price. The lunch buffet is outstanding. You won't find a better deal anywhere nor will you find food as fresh.
