I left three pairs of casual shorts to have the lower leg width reduced 1 1/2". They were the perfect length and that's the reason I bought them. When I got them back, the legs had been reduced by only 1/2" on all of them; there was a 1" difference in the length of the legs on another; and on the other pair, the perfect length had been reduced by 2". I accepted the first two, but complained. The owner tried to argue on the short pair that he wasn't at fault but some other customers came in so he pushed a $20.00 bill at me and threw the shorts backwards. I paid by cc and am contesting the $16.00 I paid for the unusable pair's alterations. The $20.00 he paid me didn't make up for the cost of the shorts plus the alteration which I had already paid for up front....he gave no credit for that.
