I recently had an engine put in my kia rio, by trust auto center do not put any stock in that name untrusty would be a better name for them as they are nothing but a bunch of crooks. I had my car back 2 days an the check engine light came on. it was on a sat.and I called them and they said they were closing to take it to auto zone and have them use the handheld computer to see what was wrong. so I did they said it sounded like the ignition coils or spark plugs were bad as it wasn't hitting on all 4 cyl. trust auto said that tthey weren't part of the engine and that they put my old coils an plugs unto the replaced engine now the last time I looked they are apart of the engine, and when your engine blows and overheats it damages everything on that engine.i should have trusted my friend who told me to take it to his mechanic instead I listened to someone else and got the shaft. they charged me a couple dollars short of 2,000.00 dollars whereas I could have gotten it done for 400.00 lessan they would have replaced everything in cluding the timing chain.talking to Melvin at trust auto I thought I could trust him as he said they would take good care of me, the only people they take care of is themselves. they knew how to take advantage of a 70 yr. old lady I REALLY HOPE THEY ROT IN HELL!!!!! and remember what goes around comes around
I am extremely disappointed with the quality and service that I received from Trust Auto. I took my vehicle to this business for hail damage repair. I agreed on a price and scope of work to be performed with the shop's owner, Perry Smith, prior to leaving my vehicle. Each time I have called to check on the status of my vehicle I have been put off, because nobody knows what is going on. Finally, I was told my vehicle was ready to be picked up and much to my chagrin, it is nowhere near ready. The trim on my vehicle is literally hanging off and they tried to glue it back together with silicone (unsuccessful). Additionally, there is paint overspray on all the trim, windshield wipers, glass, etc. of my car. The door handles are "gritty" when I touch them to open the door like the paint was not applied correctly. Lastly, Perry assured me that he would replace my front windshield with certified glass, not a cheap aftermarket part, and he did not honor his word at all. On top of all that, the price that we agreed upon in writing prior to starting the work has now "mysteriously" increased without explanation. Perry left for vacation and will not be back for 10 days and my car is still not ready. CONSUMERS: Please consider this review BEFORE choosing to do business with this company. I will also edit my review once a resolution is met.
They don't stand behind there word they are very unprofessional please don't go to this shop they do not have licensed workers
Took my 2001 Chrysler Sebring with only a blown motor to get fixed on Oct 25 2011 for about $2300 in two weeks. Car was ready on Dec 1 2012, over a month and price was about $2800 to get out. Drove the car about 10miles and car runs hot and breaks down. Call the shop to have them come get my car and fix it. Get a call couple days later from them and was told need a new radiator which will cost me bout another $230.Keep in mind there was nothing wrong with my radiator till they got it and took my motor out. It's been a month later and not only is my car not fixed but the shop refuse to return any of my calls.
What I like best about this company is the honesty. Perry gave me a quote on a new engine and stated that he would have my car ready by the 3rd of Jan. He did exactly what he said and my car runs like a new vehicle. I would recommend this company to my 84 year old grandmom. Their prices and warranties are better than anyone arround.
I brought my Toyota to this dealership for two issues.
1) transmission: Melvin was able to locate a transmission for my car when several other transmission shops could not and guarentee the work for a longer period of time also. The transmission so far is solid.
2) Front wheel bearings. My car was suffering from extemely loud "road noise" and they gave me a good price and Chad and crew did an excellent job. We test drove it together and I am very satisfied with the work and price.Thanks!
i now have 2000 mi. on a rebuilt 350 and the new lifters are collapsing, the exhaust manifold is leaking. this motor is nothing like i paid for. not only did trust auto show the signs of deception when i first handed trust auto cash, now i see more deception because this is $300 junk. master of deception?
Back in feburary 2012 I purchased an 2001 Monte carlo from Mr perry.I would suggest too anyone who's having any car problems to bring their car too trust automotive My engine and transmission started to giving me problems; I called Mr.Perry and told him about these issues and he instructed me too return the car to him and he would fix which he did and even has giving me gas money from my comute too his shop.....
