Great place to live !

Some of the last big roomy apartments around. Plus so much you get just for living there.
They keep up the apartments .

Overall

We were paying $649 for a 1 bed/1 bath apartment LoL! With washer and dryer in the unit. Rent went up once in the year that we were there. The neighbors were loud and rude. The office staff was rude. I know we were late (by 2 days) on rent and called down there to advise we were going to be late and let them know the day they would be paid, it didn't matter. We still got the GTFO in 5 days notice or pay hung outside our door. It was tacky.

There were police constantly there at the apartments. The month we moved in there were 3 different people walking to their cars and they were held up by gunpoint, a child drowned in the pool, 2 cars broke into, we had to call the police ourselves due to being harassed, the fella downstairs informed us that if we wanted to buy coke or meth that he was our guy, we were woke up at 7 AM with a man downstairs singing Beyonce and the top of his lungs, the maintenance guys always used the blowers and every other loud tool starting at 7 AM many mornings, anything that broke was half assed fixed, the electricity bill was always $150-160 (and still wouldn't cool the 1 bedroom unit), the 'free' cable was 10 channels and internet was off and on constantly, the closet doors were loud and never would stay on track. You will be able to see in the pictures I am attaching of the mold and mildew that is in the caulk around the tub and on the outside of the tub. It is disgusting. Upon moving out I spent 2 hours in that little bathroom 'attempting' to clean every single inch of it. You will also see how damaged the countertops were BEFORE we moved in as everything was documented. Oh and the light outside our front door was non functioning. I didn't go out after dark alone.

This was seriously the worst place I have EVER lived in my entire life. There are many places around town cheaper and in much better locations. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE live here.

I am attaching pictures of how clean we left the unit and still have yet to be returned $350 worth of the deposit.

I did not have any problems with this place. Just like every location, there is a few minor issues that are normal such as bugs which is something that can be fixed. The apartments are roomy, has an alarm system as well. Management is nice and I just love it so far!

I currenlty reside in the complex and I am looking for new residency. The apartments are old and I am having problems with bugs. The grounds are neat and clean on the newer side of the complex, but the older side of the complex is not kept up as well.n The personal backyard area that you have is not kept up. The plumbing drains slow after repeated bottles of Liquid Plumber. The upstairs neighbor's plumbing works well because it is leaking into my bathtub (which has been reported on several occasions, but has failed to be fixed) and his toilet has overflowed causing it to leak down over my toilet in my apartment. The dishwasher has backed up after several uses and maintenances enters the apartments without proper notification. My mother had to have them repaint the walls and fix the counter. I can hear EVERYTHING the neighbor does upstairs morning and NIGHT! For the pricing they are requesting it is not worth it. I am currently looking for another area to move to. The basic cable they use as a selling point is provided by a company that is very small and you only have about 10 channels. The best part of this complex is the alarm systems (in which you have to have a phone line for it to connect to the police), stackable washer (whose vent sometimes let's lizards in during the winter) and dryer and internet services. The complex has several power outages that last a long time when there is a storm leaving you without means of contact to anyone. It is a pet friendly area in which several residents do not uphold the leash or pooper scooper clause in their lease. There are several stray cats running rampant in the area. Four of my friends that resided here broke lease to move. As old as this complex is the pricing should not be the way it is.

Have had a great time living there

The Town and Country apartments are great. I have had no trouble with the grounds. They have a security guy that walks around and that is a good feeling.
