Horrible experience. Milene didn't care about my divorce and did not know how to fight for my rights instead she tried to convince me to give in to my ex husband. She didn't know the law and didn't fight for me. Not a strong lawyer. Her office worried a lot about my payments but not about my case. A lot of wasted time on paperwork but when it came down to mediation she wanted me to give in didn't fight for me and charged me a lot of money. I believe she didn't know the law well and didn't care about my feelings at all. She only cared about charging me and many times would call my ex to remind him of things. As if I was paying her to assist him instead of me. I wouldn't recommend her at all
On Friday 12/22/2017 attorney Perla Abrams and Abrams & Abrams, P.A. were our closing/settlement agents for the purchase of our dream house. I sincerely regret hiring them for this service because of their inability to communicate with me during the week of the scheduled closing. On Wednesday and Thursday of that week I sent them requests for information/instructions via voicemail, text and thru my spouse. By Friday (closing day) at 9:32am they had not responded to my communications and I did not know what to do in terms of wiring the money, other particulars or even the time when the closing would take place. That was scary. I felt very concerned and afraid of the consequences of not complying with the terms of the contract. The lack of communication made it worse and I did not feel adequately represented by attorney Perla Abrams and Abrams & Abrams, P.A. Consequently, I sent Perla a complaint via email with an attached picture of my text messages that had not been responded. She responded afterwards and basically blamed the bank and her daughter for her own lack of communication with me (her client). After some back and forth over the phone we were able to schedule a time to do the closing. That was the worst part. At no point did attorney Perla Abrams or anyone at Abrams & Abrams, P.A. apologize in person for the above situation they created. Honestly, I was sad to be there and go thru the whole ordeal which is supposed to be the happiest moment for a first-time home buyer. I felt that attorney Perla Abrams and Abrams & Abrams, P.A. ruined that moment for me. Based on the above, I would never hire attorney Perla Abrams and Abrams & Abrams, P.A. and will not recommend them to anyone looking for a closing/settlement agent.
I reviewed a long, overly-expressive petition for sole decision-making for a minor filed by Steven Grossbard, Esq, April 6th, 2016. The Petition made no distinction between Petitioner's claims and findings of fact; poor ethics for a child custody case. The 2nd petition for the same case submitted by Grossbard lacked organization, and was difficult to read because it contained extensive misuse of terms, and was highly emotional. The Paperwork submitted by Grossbard appeared to have been prepared by an amateur, which may be expected since Grossbard is the same firm that failed in the infamous Reyes-Barahona case, leading to a child's death in 2011. I would strongly advise you not employ the offices Grossbard. I am not a direct party to any of the lawsuits I reviewed.
BEST ATTORNEY BY FAR!!!. I have a child with special needs and she helped me get an extension in child support beyond the age of 18. She's professional, diligent and really cares about her clients. She went above and beyond to serve us and I highly recommend her.
Excellent attorney! Helped me so much thru difficult times. Great legal adviser. Case solver like no other in Miami. Mr. Ferris makes himself available 24/7. I will never forget when I called one holiday night and Mr. Ferris abandoned his child's baseball game to take care of my emergency. He is always courteous and professional even in the most stressful times. Five stars rate to the entire staff in the office for the great job in accommodating clients like me, with a last minute's trouble.
Fantastic service & professionalismScott Ferris was absolutely the most communicative lawyer I have ever encountered, we were always able to reach him one way or another. His professionalism, humanity and understanding was beyond what I could ever hope for. Couldn't ask for a better firm and lawyer, simply the Best !!!!! Impressive skills & wonderful down to earth person to speak to as well as being tough enough to get things done. I would recommend Scott Ferris to anyone and he will also be the first person I contact for any further needs !!!!!!
Mr. Scott Ferris is excellent at what he does. He was extremely efficient and knowledgeable. His response time was impeccable and he's always on the ball. I would highly recommend his services.
I want to take a moment to thank Attorney Scott Ferris, who believes the most important aspects of a relationship between a client and an attorney are trust and communication. That means keeping your word and telling the truth above all else. He provided aggressive representation at reasonable prices without intimidation or condescension.Attorney Ferris and his staff pride themselves on cultivating a friendly and professional relationship with their clients and working as hard as possible to accomplish their client's goals. Thanks Again Scott!Mike
We contacted Scott on Novembers, (holiday weekend) . It was after hours and without knowing us he give us his legal advice. He agreed to see us, that same weekend. We meet at his office Sunday approximately at 7.00 pm. At that point, we felt confident; we knew then he will be our lawyer for life. He is aggressive and passionate. During the length of our case, each time we contacted him, he answered almost instantly. Great response. We will recommend Scott. He is great doing what he does. Scott is a true professional with high standards.
Although I rarely write online reviews, I feel compelled to express my extreme pleasure and unwavering gratitude to Scott Ferris. Having guided me through the legal process during my rather contentious divorce, I cannot say enough about the genuine compassion and legal expertise Mr. Ferris displayed .on my behalf. Scott was so easy to confide in and it was obvious that he takes his client's best interest to heart. His staff was very friendly and helpful and Mr. Ferris was exceptionally fair when it came to the financial aspect of our relationship. I have utilized the services of several attorneys over the years, and although I found most to be competent, Mr. Ferris was on a whole different level. His experience and expertise are a t rue complement to his people skills and how comfortable he always made me feel. I would not hesitate to recommend this gentleman to anyone who may be in need of a family lawyer, or for that matter a skilled trial lawyer.
