        The Retired Senior Volunteer Program is one of the programs offered by Family & Children s Service. It is sponsored by the Corporation for National Service and the Monmouth County Office on Aging. The program invites adults aged 55 and over to use their life experiences and skills to answer the call of their neighbors in need. Located in Long Branch, N.J., the Retired Senior Volunteer Program provides food for homeless and hungry people. It also protects fragile rivers and forests and offers mentoring and tutoring services for young people. The program s volunteers build houses for low-income people and help local law enforcement agencies make communities safe.
