Met the business owners a couple months ago and got to visit their salon as well. Very clean and professional. All of the employees were nice and courteous also.

My daughter took me in for a pedicure for mothers day. I thought it was the best pedi i have ever had. Will be going back.
I had a bad experience at this salon. I went there for eyebrow threading since it was the only place in Lawrence. I experienced a terrible customer care. The owner is very rude to customers. She got done with my eyebrows in five minutes. She left few unwanted hairs and when I told her, then she mad at me. I would not recommend to anyone to visit this salon. Go somewhere else!
FIrst of all, I scheduled an pedi with Mik, she didn't keep to her schedule so I was supposed to wait. I decided to get a pedi with a different tech instead of waiting 20 min because I was on a schedule of my own. Main complaint: I was cut, to the point where my cuticle would not stop bleeding. They made me pay full price. The nail art looked like 6 yr old did it. The manager did not even apologize for any of this. I had to ask for a piece of ice, and hold it onto my toe, to stop the bleeding. I hope I don't get an infection or anything worse. They should probably have some sort of incident report for cases like this. ALSO: my friend was getting a manicure from a different nail tech and she was also cut to the point of bleeding. Just really unprofessional and not good quality. Wish I hadn't even payed because they have a sign posted stating: NO refund for any services. :(
Mik is amazing. She does a great job; knows her clients and her products. I appreciate her familiarity with me and my preferences. It is a clean salon with current, up-to-date products and procedures.
Grace is the nail technician I always request for my shellac/gel manicures. She does a great job and is pleasant to spend time with.
Well I wasn't impressed at all me and my sister went in last night to get her a full set and me a pedi. The women who did mine was rude, did a rush job like talking 10 min and didn't even do it right. I will not be returning to them. She wouldn't even talk to her customer she was more worried bout talking to her friend than the person who was paying her for her service. I would rather pay more and go to nail city because at least they do a Damm good job and take time to make sure it was right and u was satisfied
I went there to get a fill. I was in there for 2 1/2 hours! When I left my nails still weren't dry 3 hours later. They obviously got destroyed even though I was basically handicap most of the day waiting for them to set. They must have horribly old polish! Also while I was waiting for them to dry and were so rude, like I was taking up too much space in the salon. Officially never going back.
Just got my nails done here and they are absolutely positively amazing they are affordable but do in my opinion the BEST! job in Lawrence I will be a repeat customer and also recommend them to everyone!
This place was awful! I had acrylic tips on that I had gotten done in NY and wanted to get them removed and a new set put on. I was told to go to the salon to have them remove the old acrylics since just pulling them off can cause damage to your nails. They didn't even soak my nails in any kind of polish remover! He cut down my nails and then ripped them off with the help of a plastic nail tip. It hurt so bad! They used nail glue that you buy from a cheap fake set that you can get at Walmart/Target to glue on the tips, and then I had glue all over my fingers, I'm still peeling it off my hands. He never even asked me if I wanted my nails rounded or squared, but it doesn't matter because the tips aren't cut even. The clear coat they put over the acrylics is bubbly and there are small black hairs stuck in them - my hair is blonde. It's gross. My appointment took almost 2 hours, and I was literally the only person in the salon. He left me for almost a half hour after cutting down the tips to count his receipts with another manicurist. Absolutely terrible - I'll never go back. Looking for recommendations for a good, fair-price salon in Lawrence if anyone has suggestions.
