D & J Smoke House

I work nearby, so I eat here once a month. The food has always been good and reasonable. I suggest you try the Abe and Tommie sandwich. It comes with a drink and a fry. The ribs and tips are great also. Our office orders from here for lunch often. Wish they were open on Mon and Tue, they close too early, 9pm.

I made 3 separate trips to this restaurant for the following reasons.

The first trip was for my brother. I figured it was late and maybe this was a bad batch of rib tips, though the link sausage was great. The second trip was to the ribs were worse than before. They tasted old and dry. The last trip sealed it. The sausage was very burned. I took them back. They gave me another sandwich free because they also returned my money. The free sausage is burned on one side and undone on the other. The fries tasted as though they were cooked at some earlier time. That does it for me.

I didn't want to rate this restaurant because it does not deserve a star but I was not allowed to transmit unless I clicked a star rating.
